I spoke to the customer myself after speaking with the claims adjuster and I concur with the claims adjuster after finding out the T V had no exterior damage but when turned on a red line is seen in the TV what caused this we have no way of knowing but no transit damage can be found and on electronic items like this they are denied when no damage can be found

DEar Mr [redacted] im sorry for your expirence but I hope you understand that [redacted] is only an agent of ALLIED van Lines and your claim and whatever insurance coverage you have is with them .I also believe that you have already filed your claim with them have they responded to you if not we can help with that

I have answered this more than once and again electronics any type if no exterior damage then the carrier is not liable

I am rejecting this response because:You are in the business of properly securing electronic items and ensuring that they don't get moved around and are not stored in high height or sensitive areas. We both know that if you shake a TV or cause it to vibrate excessively by not storing it or moving it improperly it can damage the internal components without ever damaging the exterior. As you mentioned earlier, these are very sensitive items that should not be moved in the same manner as ordinary furniture. It left Texas intact and arrived damaged, no dispute on that and it happened in the care, custody and control of your companyThere is more than one way to damage a TV other than breaking the exterior and that does not excuse you, who are in the business of moving TV's to simply deny a claim based on the lack of exterior damage. Your employees crated it, packed and moved it and it arrived damaged. Bottom line is you are responsible for not ensuring it arrived intact, it's that simple. You can depreciate it but I will not accept the denial simply based on your statement that there must be external damage

Sir I understand you and why you feel the way you do and I hope you understand me that doesn't mean we have to agree just understand each other and no insurance company would ever pay for transit damage if no damage can be seen when it comes to electronics

I am rejecting this response because: The TV was completely intact when the movers arrived.  They themselves packed it, apparently negligently, loaded it improperly and unpacked it in a manner that caused the internal components to become damaged.  I think its ludicrous to imply that a delicate items such as a TV can only be damaged if there is external damage,  If it is handled, loaded and moved improperly it will cause the item to become damaged. Bottom line is the movers are in the business of securing delicate items and moving them without damaging them and this clearly shows they did not do so.  The TV was intact before the move and now it is not.  It's interesting that it broke in the precise period of time it was in the care, custody and control of the movers but they want to shift the negligence elsewhere.  The Tv was not adequately stored in the truck and most likely placed straight on the floorboard with no padding.
