But I have it back and learned a lesson. Check the internet and your agency before I put any trust in a merchant that does not respond to e-mail and phone calls and does shoddy work that takes a year to make a repair for a small toy steam engine.

Review: I sent a 1950 302 American Flyer S Gauge Model Steam Engine for repairs and a check for $285.00 to cover those repairs and shipping I sent the engine on May *,2013 which was delivered by UPS (I have the receipt) and signed for by "[redacted] on May *, at 12:59. The Model Engine was examined and I was send an e-mail from the Company on Friday July **,2013 stating the repairs and return shipping. I wrote a check and sent the $285. to the R.F.F. Giardina Company. I wrote and mailed the check on July **,2013. The check was cashed my the RFG Company on July **, 2013. The e-mail stated that once the check cleared it would take 4 to 6 weeks to repair. In September I started making calls to the Company that were not returned. Eventually I received a message that after threatening them with contacting you and other agencies that "good work takes time." I tried to use the Company's web site to check status but when I put in the date and forwarded I kept getting an error message that said "The page at https:id [redacted] says..." Another message said "Did you try receive a order confirmation e-mail." I had the UPS receipt and cancelled check and thought the message was odd. (I have a copy of the check.) I continue to call up to last month to no avail.Desired Settlement: I would like my American Flyer model engine repaired and shipped to me immediately If that is not possible and it should be because the Company has had almost a year to repair a toy engine, I would like a refund and the Model engine returned to me immediately.
