house over the *** house wrapThe *** house wrap, which is installed to prevent water leakage, was installed by others hired by Mr***At the time the work was completed (January 5, 2015), there was insufficient material (coil and drip cap) to complete the job in its entiretyWe had returned on January 16, to complete the ledge board and flashingThe bill for installation of the ledger board is still outstandingAlso, prior to siding installation, the drywall contractor used portable torpedo kerosene heaters in the basement to heat the house for drywall installationInstallation of drywall compound creates a large amount of condensation along with running kerosene torpedo heatersDue to the extreme cold winter conditions and that the West wall of the home gets the brunt of cold winds, condensation could form on the insideAnother factor that could contribute to the issue, there were no gutters installed on the home per Mr***I believe our company is not responsible for the issue at hand, because of the following: - We did not install the *** house wrap to prevent water leakage- We did not have sufficient material provided to complete the job- The drywall contractor created a condensation condition prior to the siding installation- No gutters installed on home to re-direct water- Mr*** has never contacted our company with any leaking or water issues in the basement until this complaint received by the Revdex.comThank you for your time in this matterIf you should need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact my officeSincerely, James HBesroi Construction Corp

On 6/23/I made contact with the homeowner requesting information as to the manufacturer of the windowOn 6/24/the homeowner emailed the requested information, however the information was not sufficient to order a replacement pane of glassOn 6/27/arrangements were made to have the glass measured, fabricated, and installedAt this time we are waiting for the glass replacement to be completedSincerely, Michael Ho*** Besroi Construction Corp

Revdex.com spoke to *** and the following was relayed: *** *** was the project coordinator who hired Besroi to attach the ledger and flashingThe first crew failed to do so and a second crew had to be sent to return and fixThe board was recently discovered to only be held by 1/4" lag boltsCurrently, 1/2" lag bolts are being added to reinforce as we are fortunate it did not come downThe framer was hired to attach the ledger board in the contract and *** *** failed to have the ledger board available at the time of framingRegarding the issue of materials, all the materials needed by Besroi were thereThe issue of the gutters is irrelevant as there are no gutters on the gable endThe heating issue was resolved after a day and a half when the heating contractor finished and heat was provided hours a day

This is satisfactory.I was starting to become concerned as I received no additional communication from the company after my email regarding the window specifics (on 6/24). It's good to know they have the information they need to build the replacement glass pane. I have paused my efforts to solicit quotes for the glass replacement as the company now seems willing to replace the window. In my initial complaint I advised that I would solicit quotes and have the work done but as the company is now working with me I'm happy to let them complete the work.Please keep this complaint open until such time as the glass repair is completed.Regards, [redacted]
