I am rejecting this response because:  he said for 3 weeks he would come to check it out and still hasn't.  I don't want it to go any longer, it's a mess.  We'll do 30 days from now to take care of it.  We do have many pictures to show the parking lot if needed.  Thank you.

Review: We hired what we thought were pro's on doing our parking lot. Instead what we have are ponds all over the place. These are not birdbaths as the contractor claimed that might happen. But 35,000 dollars should have given us a good job, as they're supposed to be pros. I've called and [redacted] told me to mark the spots with chalk in 4 spots around the areas which I did but he never came to check it, then I called again but no answer, then I was called back and told he'll come and check it on Sat. but never arrived. I called again and no reply. I then called again and was told he'd be here on Monday but never arrived. It's just a shame that these people that claim they're pros can take advantage of people like this. Something needs to be done with supposed pros.Desired Settlement: To do the right job and to correct the problem. Not just ignore us. the work was supposed to be guaranteed??

Yes my apologies I will follow up with [redacted] to take a look been meaning to just extremely busy. But as the customer mentioned I told him that he was going to have drainage issues and did not want to do the job. But he persisted on moving forward . there is no guarantee on drainage because of the elevations he had were very critical. But as I said before I will take a look and try to resolve something for him.

Review: I contracted with R&G paving to rip up and replace my asphalt driveway. Also to grade and fill as needed. They came on 6/24 in the afternoon and did the driveway. We were told not to park on it until the following Saturday. During the week it rained and my wife noticed at the top of the driveway there was an approximate area of 6 feet by 2 feet of water where the driveway was not level. There was no were for this water to drain. It also prevented us from entering our yard from the driveway because you had to jump over or walk through this puddle. It was about 1 1/2 inches deep. I called [redacted] and told him what was happening. He said he would patch it and then seal it. I told him this was not acceptable. I just paid him 2200.00 to replace my patched driveway that he dug up. I wanted him to replace the driveway. He said he would not. His only offer was to patch it.Desired Settlement: It is unacceptable that he will not replace his obvious sub-standard job. He was paid in full for his job, I told him if he does not replace it we are taking him to court. He did not seem to care. If we have to hire someone else to replace this we are going to seek our payment to him as well as the payment to another contractor.

I told the customer I would take care of it by patching & seal coating. He agreed on the afternoon of June 26th when I revisited his place to access the problem. He then called me later that same evening very intoxicated & nasty telling me he was gonna take me to court & didnt want the repair. The driveway does not need replaced job came out great & water spot is only 3' x 2' I personally saw it & only a 1/2" deep. We do not gaurantee 100% drainage on any project, but I was trying to do the right thing for the customer but he wouldnt accept it. We are a very reputable company & stand behind all our work. But I will not tolerate being yelled at by an intoxicated customer.

This complaint has not been resolved. We have not heard from this company since we contacted you. The driveway did not come out great and the area where we have water is bigger than he said it is. We have consulted an attorney and are looking into legal action. But I want you to know we have NOT heard from this company at all.

This is [redacted] President of R & G Paving Inc. in reply to the customer I would be willing to patch & seal driveway come spring time of 2015 meaning April or May sometime. This will take care of puddling issue & of course at no expense to the customer we will also seal coat the driveway.
