THIS VEHICLE WAS SOLD ON MARCH 19, 2014, AS A USED VEHICLE WITH NO WARRANTY AND SOLD AS IS. [redacted] TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND WAS AWARE THAT THE VEHICLE WAS USED, HAD NO WARRANTY, AND WAS SOLD AS IS. SHE SIGNED DOCUMENTS AT THE TIME OF SALE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT SHE UNDERSTOOD THE TERMS OF THE SALE.
WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE REPAIRS ON THESE VEHICLES, BUT WE DID OFFER TO ASSIST [redacted] WITH THE OIL LEAK MENTIONED. WE DO NOT OFFER LOANER CARS TO ANY CUSTOMER AS WE DO NOT CARRY INSURANCE TO COVER LOANER CARS. WE INFORMED [redacted] THAT THE REPAIRS WOULD COST AROUND $600 AND THAT WE COULD ASSIST HER WITH A PAYMENT PLAN. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED IN ON 9/11/14. I SPOKE WITH [redacted] ON 9/23/14 AND EXPLAINED THAT IF SHE WANTED US TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE, WE WOULD REQUIRE AT LEAST HALF UP FRONT, $300, AS THIS IS OUR COMPANY POLICY ON SERVICE NOTES.
AT THIS POINT, [redacted]'S PAYMENT WAS STILL DUE FROM 9/9/14 AND ANOTHER PAYMENT CAME DUE ON 9/23/14. SHE THEN INFORMED ME THAT SHE HAD LOST HER JOB AND WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PAY ON THE VEHICLE OR REPAIRS. WE WERE MORE THAN WILLING TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD NOT MADE HER PAYMENT THAT WAS PAST DUE. SINCE SHE INFORMED US THAT SHE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PAY FOR THE VEHICLE, WE INITIATED THE REPOSSESSION PROCESS ON THIS ACCOUNT.
WE FEEL THAT WE HAVE ASSISTED [redacted] IN MANY WAYS PERTAINING TO HER ACCOUNT REGUARDING LATE PAYMENTS AND INSURANCE ISSUES AND CAN PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION TO SUPPORT THIS STATEMENT. [redacted], IN OUR OPINION, SHOULD NOT RECEIVE A REFUND BECAUSE:

Answer to complaint # [redacted] When a customer purchases a Buy Here / Pay...
Here vehicle from us we explain to each customer that we do NOT report their credit payments to any credit bureau unless it becomes a repossession. They even sign a form to show they understand this. This form they sign is mandatory and is included in each car deal. Ms. Brown signed this form agreeing that this was our policy. Her complaint that her vehicle's value was only $750 is not a true statement. NADA shows a much much higher value for this vehicle and is an expert in the auto value industry. Her complaint that her vehicle is equipped with a GPS locator and Kill Switch should be no complaint at all. She signed documents which explain to her we have installed this equipment, why we install this equipment and that she understands this equipment is on the vehicle she is purchasing. Upon signing all documents at the time of the purchase, all customers are given a copy of EVERYTHING they signed. She did receive a copy of the retail installment contract which shows how much interest you will pay over the life of the loan. If she had misplaced her copy and needed another copy of it we would have been more than happy to supply her with one. We speak plain language as we explain every step of the purchase process to our customers. We do not want a customer to sign anything they do not fully understand. If they have a question at any step of the process - we answer it so they understand it and accept it, unfortunately, sometimes a customer is angry after they no longer have their vehicle and wish to tarnish the reputation of a business while they are angry. WHEN SHE TURNED THE VEHICLE IN SHE DIDN'T SIGN THE VOLUNTARY FORM, SO BY STATE ALL WE ARE REQUIRED TO SEND THOSE 3 CERTIFIED LETTERS.
SO THAT IS CORRECT HER CAR WAS A REPO AND SHE HAS A OUTSTANDING BALANCE OF $5,345.38, BUT WE WILL NOT PURSUE THAT MATTER.
