Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The fact that Rhinebeck Ford is willing to fix the items in complaint and even pick up the car, is not the point here. The point is that Rhinebeck Ford should not have to fix these items at all because these were items on the check list of a certified pre-owned car. These items should have been working and included (2nd key). Also the service department had the car for a week while I was on vacation to fix the radio. At that time I pointed out some smaller items that needed to be fixed and they never did. Therefore, once again, I feel that I have been lied to and that Rhinebeck Ford is guilty of Fraud and want nothing to do with them or the car.

Letter was addressed to [redacted] who is no longer with our organization. Refund to [redacted] was handled by office manager who also is...

no longer employed here. I recently received an email from [redacted] stating that the amount owed to him is now $380.62. Apparently we sent money owed to vendors that performed work on [redacted]s vehicle rather than customer. I am not disputing amount owed and we send check to [redacted] this week. WE apologize for any inconvenience to [redacted]. Thank you. Vincent P[redacted]

I appreciate the position [redacted] has taken and am sincerely dissapponted she is so dissatisfied. At Rhinebeck Ford our family atmosphere and quality of the product we market is crucial to us. My team has been speaking with [redacted] to correct any and all concerns she has. They have explained...

to me that though her checklist and the condition slip signed by [redacted] shows that both keys were provided they have made it clear to her that we would make another for her at no cost.
The high beam concern is one that we were not been prithy to but they have also explained that it would be corrected. [redacted], my [redacted] even suggested that she make a list of anything she deems less than perfect and offered to give her no charge concierge service.
Rhinebeck Ford's concierge service is one that I believe no other dealer, certainly Ford Store offeres where we pick up and return the customers vehicle when completed. [redacted] coupled this with a no charge loaner that would be dropped off as well to ensure seamless transportation coverage for [redacted].
Apparently, [redacted] has explained to me that [redacted] has complained that her radio "fades in and out", however the vehicle was not equipped with Navigation. [redacted] has also explained that she offered [redacted] any appointment date she would like but was told she would get back to her and has not as of yet.
As soon as we get the vehicle in our shop we will make sure that we exceed the promises we have implied in Ford's Certified Pre-owned Standards. I can only hope at that point we may have chance to retain her in our family of customers.
Thank You

I just leased my second vehicle from RF.
The car, A Fusion energy hybrid. I live the car but my issue has to do with shady sales tactics. I'm not happy at all. I probably will not go back. My previous lease was up and they made this offer to me. They contacted me first. Chuck the salesman told me Ford would pay my last two payments on my current lease (only turned out to be one final payment)
And my deposit of 500$ would yield me a new monthly payment of 348$. This was a great offer. I test drove this car, and it really is a beautiful car. But everything the salesman stated was wrong. I trusted that he knew what he was doing. When we were almost finished he said, "oh I just found out that it's too late for us to make your last payment." So he proposed me making the last payment and dropping the monthly payment. That wouldn't work for me. So he said his dealership would pay it. That ended up being very stressful for me. They took so long to pay it that fordcredit took another payment out of my account causing overdrafts...I spent better part of my afternoon on the phone and at my bank clearing it up. I called RF and let them know how unhappy I was for that. Now I get the payment statement and its for 355 p/month, not 348. Again I'll have to pay them a visit. I feel like he called me to make a sale, why does it have to be this way. I was fine waiting until the end of my other lease. What a giant PITA!

Review: I purchased a 2009 Ford Escape from Rhinebeck Ford on Saturday, April **, 20015. On the way home I noticed a crack in the windshield near where inspection should be. The vehicle also started to shift irregularly and the transmission/throttle control light went on. I stopped and checked all fluids. When I started the vehicle back up the light sensors went off. The shifting seemed to correct itself until the next day when the shifting issues started again. The next day I called Jason B[redacted],my sales rep at Rhinebeck Ford. I informed him of all the issues. Jason told me I could take the vehicle to a Ford Dealer near me to be looked at for the shifting issue. He told me I would be reimbursed by Rhinebeck for a rental car and any repair needed as long as it was approved prior to repair. I took my vehicle to Steet Ponte Ford to be assessed and got a rental car from Enterprise Rental for $103.28 . I made Jason aware that the vehicle needed a valve body control replaced for $108.75 which was the deductible for the warranty. Jason told me to go ahead with the repair and I would be reimbursed for the cost. He also told me that his "boss" said to get 3 estimates for the windshield replacement. I did have the windshield replaced for $380.62. I immediately faxed and mailed copies of all my receipts and estimates to Jason. The vehicle continued to have shifting issues to which Steet Ponte told me it could take up to 150 miles for the transmission to relearn my driving patterns. The vehicle, however, continued to have intermittent shifting issues where it would down shift very hard after the 150 miles. I took the vehicle back to Rhinebeck Ford on 6/**/15 for their service department to assess the shifting issues. That day as I still had not been refunded my money for the repairs after faxing and mailing hard copies to them at least 3 different times,, Vincent P[redacted] cut a check to me for $103.28 for the initial car rental from Enterprise Rental. He told me that Rhinebeck Ford had mailed the check for 108.75 to Steet Ponte for the valve body control repair instead of to me. He at that point told me that my refund for the Windshield repair and the valve body control repair would be mailed to me as soon as the Owner gave his approval. I left the vehicle with them for diagnosis for 3 days, when I returned they said they were unable to replicate the issues I was having. When I drove home the vehicle indeed did not have any shifting issues. Within 3 days the vehicle again started having intermittent shifting issues. I contacted Rhinebeck Ford several times via telephone, e-mails, and text with no response from them concerning my refund and the vehicle problems. In the meantime I went back to Steet Ponte and the service manager there went for a ride with me and experienced the issues I have been complaining about. He was unable to completely diagnose the problem as he wanted me to leave the vehicle with them, but he did say that he felt that it may be the torque control issue. I sent a certified letter to Vincent P[redacted], General Manager, outlining my concerns about the refund and also the issues with the vehicle and asked for direction as to what to do from him. That letter was signed for on 7/**/15. I have had no reply from any correspondence with them. I sent a second certified letter to the owner, Peter M[redacted] that was signed for on 8/**/15 outlining the trouble with the vehicle and making him aware that I still had not received my refund. To this date I have still have not received any response to any of my attempts to resolve this situation.

In resolution of this problem I would like to be refunded $489.37, the total owed to me, for the prior approved repair of the vehicle valve body control and windshield. I would also like my vehicle repaired for the shifting issues which occur on a daily basis now since these issues were present from day one and have never been completely resolved.Desired Settlement: A reimbursement for what I am owed,($489.50) and a diagnosis and repair of my vehicle.

Review: I PURCHASED A CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED VEHICLE IN JULY 2014. STRIKE NUMBER 1-AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP I WAS INFORMED THAT THE RADIO/NAVIGATION SYSTEM DID NOT WORK. THIS IS PART OF THE CERTIFIED INSPECTION THEREFORE IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CERTIFIED. STRIKE NUMBER TWO-I ONLY RECEIVED ONE KEY. IN ORDER TO CERTIFY A VEHICLE YOU MUST GET TWO KEYS. STRIKE NUMBER 3-MY HIGHBEAM LIGHT SWITCH DOES NOT WORK. ONCE AGAIN THIS SHOULD BE WORKING IN ORDER TO BE A CERTIFIED VEHICLE. I FEEL THAT I HAVE BEEN LIED TO AND THAT THIS DEALERSHIP IS GUILTY OF FRAUD. I DO NOT TRUST THEM AND WONDER WHAT ELSE IS WRONG WITH THE CAR. I DO NO WANT THIS CAR OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH RHINEBECK FORD.Desired Settlement: I WANT THEM TO BUY THE CAR BACK.
