In October of *** and *** *** came into our Rhinelander location to look for a reclinerWhile shopping *** commented on how the recliners were "junk"He still purchased a recliner and upon delivery asked the delivery person "this has a lifetime warranty right?" When the
delivery person confirmed that it was a lifetime warranty, *** told him well then you'll be seeing me againIn February *** contacted us to report problems with the chairA person was sent out to assess the problemAt the time a Franklin representative was at the store and confirmed a credit could be given for the chairs problems and a full replacement given to Mr***Went the rep ordered the replacement chair he mistakenly ordered a rocking recliner instead of the non-rocking that Mr*** hadSo when it was delivered the discrepancy was pointed outThe solution was for the base of the original chair to be put into the new chair as there was nothing wrong with this part of the original chairWhen this appointment was scheduled Mrs*** called to cancel this appointment and rescheduleTwo days before the appointment Mr*** called me to ask why the appointment was missed and I informed him his wife cancelled and rescheduledHe was upset at the day picked for the rescheduled appointmentI normally handle repairs and work in the Tomahawk locationThe Rhinelander location is new and has no individual experienced with repairsSo at the time Rhinelander repair work is scheduled for later afternoon and weekendsMr*** would only accept appointments between and on weekdaysAt that time there were employee changes in Rhinelander and we were unable to coordinate a appointmentEventually I talked to Mr*** after an appointment was missed by a Rhinelander employeeI was able to set up a 5:30 appointment with him and the base was changedThe day the complaint was filed was the same day we resolved the issue by changing the base.Thank you,*** ***
