December *** I’ve visited Rinelander Autobody To find out that my vehicle still is in complete. The RT that belongs on the grill the same grill that I was told I had to come from California in July wasn’t with the grill. The license plate holder wasn’t on the bumper either. Patrick then started to order those parts for the car as I was there and was telling me that he was going to take my car to his house for safekeeping until I pay him $3000 and wasn’t going to charge me storage until March 1. I signed the receipt under duress. I then ask to see under the hood to check if they had fixed the engine air intake system and was told that they can’t open the hood because the battery was dead. I drove the car only two months from the dealership. And I knew that the car opens manually with a key. I was being lied to.The additional $3,000 he said was for repairs that should have been in our original agreement of front end repair. I haven’t received the written forms proving that the didn’t buy after market parts, the request that I asked your agency to ask him to provide in the first complaint. I want to see the odometer reading before my car gets taken anywhere. This is a second complaint
In Response to ***, this has been a long time that this car repair has been Delinquent over 8 months. Everything started out fine with a agreement to repair as the gentlemen could afford first he asked for front damage prices then when we received the car there was rear damage and right mirror and air bags and seat belt re tractors, we agreed to 10,000 for front and $3,000 for rear damage Windsheild Seatbelts and mirror, he paid with a deposit of $3,000. Then followed up with $1000.00 then he told me he had some Financial problems and fell behind, I continued since I had agreed to repair. I put all original Dodge parts on and came to a stop when he was having a hard-time to pay I asked him to come in and I asked him to take the car at 80% repaired for $8,000 and to bring it back when he can afford the rest of the repair he asked that we finish the car and that he would get the money together he said he would repair the air bags at a later date when he has the money. so I finished the car completely except the air bags .I did offer to put the car in storage off the body shop premises I did not want the car to get damages from sitting in the parking lot, I guess that was to my disadvantageit is true when he came to see the car the battery was dead that will happen after all the time the car was sitting,the battery is in the trunk the car was lock the hood was locked we couldn't get it started at that moment no one has driven his car since the repairs were not complete until the day he came to look at the car he complained that we had forgotten the front license plate bracket and the emblem on the grill, which we have since put on the car the car is ready for pick up with hopes that he will bring the balance within 3 months we told him we will not charge him any storage until march 2020, he agreed. To my surprise we received this compliant We couldn't do more to help this customer, we have had this car since may 2019 and struggled to get payment since then. The invoices and bills are attached please see below as you can see the amount of parts that were brought is Substantial At this we have no choice but put a Garagemans Lien on This Vehicle . as we were trying to avoid Any Questions Please contact Patrick *** Attached are Photos of Orange Ch-angler as Repairs Started in May and the Car today laying in the storage Yard Completed
