We are very sorry the ***'s had trouble with their vehicle, but as you can read they purchased this on 12/18/( as our records have it) and reported the problem on 1/19/2015, and then sent their complaint on 4/3/and they also contacted us on 4/4/2015, which was the first time we had heard from them, this is almost months from the day they purchased it and months after they had it repairedWe have all of our paperwork the ***'s signed and they signed the buyers guide as this [redacted] with [redacted] miles on it as being AS-IS, there was at no time a warranty implied or that we would take care of any issues after they purchased their vehicleThey drove this vehicle for a month and had no issues so we are not sure why this is being brought up now as a problemThe ***'s test drove this vehicle and at any time they could have taken it to a mechanic and had it checked, that was never mentioned by them either, but that doesn't even seem to be the issue for they had no trouble in the first daysWe are very confused and are left wondering why they waited so long to contact us or complain about [redacted] when they didn't feel the need to do it on 1/19/when the problems started to arise, once again I will repeat we had never heard from the ***'s until 4/4/We cannot refund this amount that is being requested due to the fact that is was purchased AS-IS, and that they had waited so long to contact us

Revdex.com:I contacted them shortly after we started having work done on the vehicleIt started getting noisy shortly after we bought it but due to time constraints were unable to get to a mechanic for a diagnosis Since our complaint we have had even MORE trouble! The wheel bearing on the back driver side needed replaced, another [redacted] dollars! We did buy the vehicle AS IS but if they put vehicles out on the lot with THIS much problems, that is very BAD business!!! We should have been told of the forthcoming problemsand my mechanic can prove that these issues were forthcoming and should have been known about BEFORE the vehicle was place on the lot I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] ***

We are very sorry the [redacted]'s had trouble with their vehicle, but as you can read they purchased this on 12/18/2014 ( as our records have it) and reported the problem on 1/19/2015, and then sent their complaint on 4/3/2015 and they also contacted us on 4/4/2015, which was the first time we had heard...

from them, this is almost 4 months from the day they purchased it and 2.5 months after they had it repaired. We have all of our paperwork the [redacted]'s signed and they signed the buyers guide as this 2003 [redacted] with [redacted] miles on it as being AS-IS, there was at no time a warranty implied or that we would take care of any issues after they purchased their vehicle. They drove this vehicle for a month and had no issues so we are not sure why this is being brought up now as a problem. The [redacted]'s test drove this vehicle and at any time they could have taken it to a mechanic and had it checked, that was never mentioned by them either, but that doesn't even seem to be the issue for they had no trouble in the first 30 days. We are very confused and are left wondering why they waited so long to contact us or complain about [redacted] when they didn't feel the need to do it on 1/19/2015 when the problems started to arise, once again I will repeat we had never heard from the [redacted]'s until 4/4/2015. We cannot refund this amount that is being requested due to the fact that is was purchased AS-IS, and that they had waited so long to contact us.

[redacted] was informed on his first vehicle that had been towed in which was his ford mustang, when he called us he was first and formost informed that it could be here for months and that at the time we did not have time to repair it, so after awhile [redacted] called and said...

that we needed to fix it to where it was at least driveable because his other car had broke down. So we fixed that and told him that it was not fixed entirely and Mr.[redacted] knew that and he also did not have all of the money to repair it at that time. So we made him an appt to have it repaired and he left. So then when  he left it did quit on him and we did bring it back and tell him that the motor was blown but he was told when he left it wasn't fixed and could possibly lead to a blown motor. This happened so long ago that I have no idea why he is even bringing it up, this so irrevelant  to the Chevy Cavalier that he is complaining about. Car#2, 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier with 200,000 on it for the mileage, we had to pay our employee to drive our rollback and purchase diesel fuel in it to go pick it up so the first price we had at $125.00 we thought was fair but then he started complaining so we dropped it to $100.00 not because we are doing shady business but we were trying to make Mr.[redacted] happy and satisfied. When [redacted] called for us to get it he had stated that it had a blown tire and his exact words were he didn't know what he was going to do with it, it was sitting along st rt 32 in Mt Orab, ohio, which is about 30miles away. We put 2 new tires and he had the tow bill plus disposal and tax, and that is the $247.00 dollars that he was talking about. [redacted] was aware himself of the reverse being out of the transmission and he was told by one of our mechanics that it had major suspension issues. Its funny how he has put that we are being shady and I have attached a copy of the ad he put out right after he complained to the Revdex.com about us. He has stated that this car just needs a little tlc and it just pulls hard to the left but in his complaint he states how he barely made it home! I think the only person being shady and dishonest is [redacted]! I cannot offer Mr.[redacted] any compensation because he was told everything that we believed and knew was wrong with his vehicles and the fact that they were in rough condition didn't help them out any. This in my opinion would be extortion at its best. I believe it would be in Mr. [redacted] best interest to move on and drop his complaint with the Revdex.com. I have one of my mechanics that also spoke with him that can verify that he told Mr. [redacted] that he would let him be the judge on the cavalier as it had suspension problems.  Mr. [redacted] told my employee to just put the tires on and that would be all he wanted done. He ask my mechanic what he should do otherwise and he said to him I am letting you make that decision. Obviously these are older cars and their best days are behind them. Their will be no further correspondence on this matter and no refunds what so ever. Thank You ..

We were never contacted to my knowledge on this matter until April, we had no idea when we sold this vehicle they would have the trouble they have had. I am very helpful to my customers and always help out when asked, I do not however have a crystal ball. I cannot give any money back on this because of the time that has gone by, I have already stated this. We do not do BAD BUSINESS! If we did we would no longer be in business.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
