[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I rented the room for a weekly rate of $that I paid cash forWe checked in Wednesday afternoon, he was picked up there Friday and I stayed until Saturday at 11ammy boyfriend was arrested for charges that were droppedI went down and spoke to the manager working and explained the situation and that I paid for the weekI also told him, because it’s a sketchy place, [redacted] it and ask any local, there has been issues of drugs and prostitution there, so I was afraid to stay there alone by myselfThe man did say that they did not do refunds but he would give me a credit for the remainder of the week which was nights (which would be about $148.00, $260/7=$per night, and the place isn’t even worth thatHe said he could not give me a refund but he would honor me a credit for the remainder of the week, nights (nights is $148.00) I checked out at am as instructed to receive the creditWhen I went into the office Saturday morning to check out and get a slip for the credit, the man totally changed his story, he was actually mad that a marshal and police were there on his property and told me “that wasn’t cool at all we don’t like that” and at that point he went back on his word from what he promised me the day before and told me he would not give me a credit for the nightsA business should not tell a customer something then go back on itHe said he would work with me and give me creditHe doesn’t want to do that so he should give me the refund since he lied meI would take the credit but he was very angry and I would t feel comfortable staying there after his attitudeBusinesses can not just do whatever they want, tell you one thing then go back on itThat’s wrongIt’s not illegal for the cops to be there expecially when the charges were and dropped so there was no reason he had to be so angry the next day and go back on his agreement with meIt’s not professional at all Regards, [redacted]
