This is not an acceptable answer. This has nothing to do with Hippa violations. I have already called her office and she called back with the excuse that she diagnosed me with cataracts and that was the reason she put through my medical insurance rather than my eye coverage for what was a yearly exam. I expect that this eye exam is put through the regular eye insurance and a credit be given for the overcharge of my co-pay. I have already filled in the fraud form for *** and will submit that as well as call channel news and any other thing I can do. I already owe over $2,for medical insurance from an operation I have no intention of adding another $I have to pay to her because *** did not pay this claim. If she wants to get paid for the yearly eye exam then that will be the only way she will get paid because it will not be through *** nor will I be paying for a fraudulent claim

As the owner of Rhodeyeland, Ms. [redacted] has lied on two occasions now, as well as taking advantage of a disabled person and stealing from me without telling me or giving me an itemized receipt which she has date printed 12-04-15. I did not receive the itemized bill showing the stolen $75.00 out of my credit card until last weekend. I spoke with her on the telephone, as well as the staff, I do not have an easy way to get to the office. I ajm trying to bring a witness with me to return the junk distance glasses she charged me $205.00 for which I wore for less than 9 days and the arm is already defective. The case that the glasses came in was used and does not fit the glasses. I cannot see out of the glasses due to the rims being bent as well. The 12-04-15 1House V2750 H52.4 is the $75.00, stolen out of my personal credit card without asking or wanting the manti-glare which is what that code stands for. When did stealing and taking advantage of a disabled person become legal? Ms. [redacted] is responsible for her staff [redacted] who charged me the $75.00 without my consent. I returned to the office to pick up the glasses, put them on, and when I could see, the glasses are made in China and are defective. The glasses covered by [redacted] are too small, too close, I asked that they make them far enough arms length away from my eyes, they came in at 12 inches from my eyes, and I cannot see out of them due to the frame is in the way. I was only given 5-6 options for [redacted] choices. I want Ms. [redacted] to take responsibility for hers and her staff's mistakes and give me my money back so I can go elsewhere. I do not do business with people that are dishonest when it comes to my money. I live on $920.00 per month SSDI, and also use a four wheel walker. The glasses are a danger to my health and over-all well-being. When I arrived and left each time, the desk staff was talking about other clients behind their backs as well as what two other women did in another room to me. No-one ever got up to offer to hold the very heavy door as I came and left. Everyone should be warned of people doing business like this to take advantage of other's. it is all about money for them. Nothing else. I want my money returned to me immediately upon returning the glasses, as well as in writing that I did return them.  disrespect for me will not happen. There is NO justification for any type of abuse. There!

I am disappointed to read that the consumer is dissatisfied and will reach out to her immediately to work out a solution.  As I aspire to uphold the privacy act of HIPPA, she and I will privately find a solution. Fondly, Dr. [redacted]
