This is Rhode Island Truck Center, LLC's response to complaint Our records indicate the customer requested a routine maintenance on March 16, 2016, which we completedon April 11, 2016, the customer returned indicating they were having battery issueOur technicians found the batteries were bad and replaced the batteriesThe customer requested that we check for warranty coverage( see attached factory warranty policy) we informed them the warranty for batteries had run outWe offered to install the batteries without charging labor and the customer acceptedWhen the customer arrived to pick up the vehicle they were unhappy and felt that the batteries should be covered and did not want to pay for the batteriesWe informed the customer that we would be happy to look into the warranty coverage again, but in the mean time, our company policy requires payment before a vehicle leaves the premisesWe explained to the customer if the manufacturer will cover the batteries we will refund their moneyLater, that week, we were told the manufacturer will cover the batteries and were not covered under warranty, againIn order to satisfy the customer we called the customer on the 21st and credited the customer's credit cardThe issue is resolved to the customer's satisfaction
