This is Rhode Island Truck Center, LLC's response to complaint 11393086. Our records indicate the customer requested a routine maintenance on March 16, 2016, which we completed. on April 11, 2016, the customer returned indicating they were having battery issue. Our technicians found the batteries...

were bad and replaced the batteries. The customer requested that we check for warranty coverage( see attached factory warranty policy) we informed them the warranty for batteries had run out. We offered to install the batteries without charging labor and the customer accepted. When the customer arrived to pick up the vehicle they were unhappy and felt that the batteries should be covered and did not want to pay for the batteries. We informed the customer that we would be happy to look into the warranty coverage again, but in the mean time, our company policy requires payment before a vehicle leaves the premises. We explained to the customer if the manufacturer will cover the batteries we will refund their money. Later, that week, we were told  the manufacturer will cover the batteries and were not covered under warranty, again. In order to satisfy the customer we called the customer on the 21st and credited the customer's credit card. The issue is resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Please add your rejection comments below. how dose a vehicle battery go out of warranty in one year ?? That is WRONG , yes they did return the money but the response is wrong. Truck and or car batteries are NOT out of warranty in one or even 2 years  especially  when the dealer is doing the  maintenance !
