We did have her car In for repairs. Customer towed In the vehicle, was not running. This was paid for by KAC [redacted] E was the contact person. Customer called several times. Each time customer was told she needed to contacted [redacted] at KAC. I contacted [redacted] at KAC and he stated customer did not...

contact him or turn in the paper work. Finally customer did contact [redacted] and he contacted us. The repairs were then started and finished timely. The vehicle needed a flywheel and starter to start the vehicle. Once started this vehicle needed a lot more work. Customer funds were exhausted from KAC. No other funds/income was available. Customer drove her vehicle away. We again let her know this vehicle needed more work.
About 3 weeks later the vehicle was towed in again to complete the rest of the work. [redacted] from KAC contacted us and stated funds were exhausted. When customer came to pick up the car it wouldn't start, again this Is why customer had It towed. Customer wanted us to help her start the car now. We told her she would have to walt until we had a mechanic available. Next thing we notice a tow truck was here and towed it away.
All repairs customer requested and authorized were done to get car running. The rest of the repairs were not done, no funds available. No refunds should be refunded. All funds came from KAC and not from her.
Attached you will find a copy of the original work order dated 3/25/15.

different makes and models. He is asking if we can adjust his exhaust pipe. The brake pedal is hitting the exhaust manifold. We took the customer in back and showed him the problem. We told him we can try to fix this problem. We let him know it would be around $300.00. We worked on this vehicle for 5 hours, and he should have been charged 5 hours labor at $95.00 per hour.
The brake lever hits this manifold. We tried several ways to fabricate an exhaust pipe to work with the brake lever. We ended up with the same problem; we let him know we needed to change this manifold to get it to work properly. He told us that he had another shop change his exhaust manifold after we called him and told him that this manifold was not the correct one because we were getting the same problem that they had. We asked for the old parts and were informed that they had gotten rid of all of the parts.
We did call him to let him know the work was completed. If he was unable to pick up vehicle we would keep it inside. We did pay our employee overtime to stay so he can pick up his vehicle after hours.

[redacted], I explained multiple times if they could not complete the work that I would take it elsewhere. I was not giving a price because I would not pay 300 for 16 inches of the wrong size exhaust pipe ! I took my vehicle to another shop and had it redone completely for less money with same manifolds!! I left Rhodes auto with same problem I went in with. I was charged for the work you see in pics.. Incomplete welds and wrong pipe!!! Not to mention unsafe

I have been going to Rhodes for a number of years. It was my partner who suggested them after hearing from our regular guy who retired. He has done oil changes, fixed windshield wipers, filled tires, did resets, winterized, brakes and did a major repair under carriage, like ball joints. All was done in timely matter with courteous p/u and delivery of customer. I always brag about them. Now with my partner gone, they have gone over and beyond to make sure I am safe. I am a senior citizen. Thanks guys!

Review: I was sent to this repair shop by a government organization, my car was not running I gave them a discretion of the problem it was over two months before I got my car back, but I would make contact with them no one contacted me I was first told they had the wrong part then I was offered other reason why my car was not fixed, I told my car was shaking very badly I need the mirror fixed and also my heat would not turn off, when I got my car back it was still shaking, the heat was still blowing hot air, although this was not listed as one of the repairs on the invoice I was told several times my heat was repaired, after a week I communicated with the organization. I paid over 1,000.00 for repairs on the vehicle, I did take my car back to Rhodes I received a list of repairs adding up to over 700.00 I was referred to this organization because they are on the list to help people with low income. when I went to pick my car up May,18, 2015 the car would not start. I was not offered any assistance, the customer services was terrible, I was very disappointed and hurt. I had to have my car towed to another car shop. my main complaint is repairs issues, but the customer services was just as bad.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund I arrived to pick my car up it did not start, the list of repairs included a "starter and a new battery" in addition to the thing I listed above the flywheel, but my car is not running As I struggled to start my car to remove it from there lot no one offered any assistance, ultimately I had to have my vehicle towed, I feel I paid for a service I did not receive, however I was offered a list of service that would get me started for an additional 700.00 dollars.

Review: I dropped my vehicle off on Monday 3/16/2014 to have an electrical issue repaired, and was told that it would be repaired by noon on Tuesday, but on Tuesday I was told that they needed another day. On Wednesday I was told by the owner that my car would be ready by 1:30, it was not ready until 5:30. I drove my car home and exactly the same problem happened to my car, I called the repair shop and asked what they did to repair my car, and was told that they repaired some wiring to the alternator, the wiring was still lose just the way I dropped it off. Actually, I received my car in worse shape than I took it in. The shop left the battery tie down on the inside fender of my car with the bolt loose, now my car has an oil leak that it never had before, oil is just pouring out from underneath like the hit the bottom of my car on something. They did absolutely no work to my car and charged me $65.00, which I did get back after the owner [redacted] told me to take my " [redacted] car" somewhere else. I lost two days of work and now three because my car is still not repaired.

Review: I took my vehicle in for a repair< showed the owner and the tech exactly what the problem was and asked if the could repair. I was told yes and that it shouldnt be a problem. I was called over to look at truck during the process in which I told the mechanic if he wasnt able to make the repair to just let me know that I would trailer it over to a diffrent shop! I was told that they would just get it done before closing and they have it figured out! I was called to pick up vehicle just after the business closed. The young lady was very hesitant to give me a invoice,I had to ask twice. First time I was handed a estimate sheet,I then told clerk that the sheet was not a invoice but a estimate to do repair. I paid cash $300 and was told my truck was parked on side of building with keys in the ignition!! The work that was done was the exact same as when I dropped it off. I called within 5 minutes of leaving with no answer,I called the following monday twice. I got a return phone call from two diffrent gentlemen but not the owner as I requested. The work done was horrible and I have pics and the actual piece welded to show. I asked if they would explain why would they put my truck outside and call me when the place is closed and leave keys in ignition without me being able to see work performed! I had to take my vehicle to a diffrent shop to have work performed correct and safely!Desired Settlement: failer to perform work ,refund
