Seeking help: Last January my fiancé and I for full-time wedding planning. We paid her full fee in February.
We gave her the money for the vendor deposits in January and more in July and found out that she did not pay our caterer, videographer. Since last week we have been asking her to give back our money so we can move forward without her, and she keeps promising and saying she will deliver it to us. I am missing one of my bridesmaids dresses as well because she refuses to give us the info of the dress maker.
We filed a lawsuit in the court last week and the person who tried to serve her wasn't able to reach her despite multiple attempts to serve her at her address in Coronado.
We got credited half of what she owes us last friday and thought it was a refund from her, but after inquiring further we found out that our bank was the one credited us. It wasn't even her! She literally pretended that she was the one that refunded the half and played along with it, completely lying to us. We asked her to meet us but she never showed up. She promised she would be at our caterer's restaurant, but then claimed that she got caught up in other things.
To all wedding vendors, please help us... You been dealing with memorable moments all the time so you know that my fiancé and I do not deserve to experience this 3 months before our wedding. We made attempts to reach her, begged her, in hopes that we wouldn't have to post this or go forward with a lawsuit, but she never made any attempts making amends to us. Help us find this person. She says she is not hard to find, but we never reach her! She will not answer our calls or respond to the last text messages we sent where I asked her why didn't pay our videographer (we just talked to the videographer and found out he wasnt paid either). Help us! We are victims of fraud and deceit. All we wanted to do is have the great wedding that feel we deserve.
