Ria Medical is a small primary care office. I have spoken with this patient about this issue multiple times. Claims or dates of...
service, where the patient has paid in full, do not show on our statements. Patient payments that do show on our statements, will show because they still have a balance on that particular claim or date of service. Our software system has the capability to do this, but our statements would be multiple pages and in some cases, statements will be as long as 20 pages. If a patient ever inquires about their payments, I generate a report listing ALL of their payments for their requested time frame.
This patient inquired about this last week. I mailed her a detail of all her payments for 2015.
