Riata Dental

To say the least, I had a very bad experience with Dr. [redacted], at Riata Dental. I had a meeting with the office manager to discuss the plan and my insurance to decide on the method of treatment. She told me that if I divided the work between 2013 and 2014 that the insurance would pay more in the different service years. I cannot blame her totally for this huge mistake, as I later found out that my insurance would not pay for dentures. It was plainly written in the insurance paperwork. So I accept that I too missed the information. So it cost me $1500. for my upper dentures (when I expected insurance to pay some in the new year)
My teeth were pulled Nov. 19, 2013. Due to several mistakes and absolutely no communication,advice, or input from Dr. [redacted] it took them 3 full monthes to finish my dentures. The seal to my mouth on the dentures at that time was very strong! But there were several returns to the office to file the teeth for sore spots. Then Dr. [redacted] said he would put a cushion on them to make them more comfortable. He put so much on that it rocked the dentures forward and caused more problems. When I came back again I asked him what is to be done now? He said "it is up to you". I got no direction or comment on a solution. I then asked him to take the cushion off, which he did, and his technition reapplied a much thinner amount of cushion which made it better, but then I had no suction at all the they fell out of my mouth! When the tech told him this, he would not even come back and talk to me. I never was able to resolve the issue and had to leave with an unacceptable product!
I would never send anyone to Riata Dental!
