Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and will communicate the information to the TennRegAuth in regards to our complaint. Let this serve as notice to the company in question. STOP FAXING US. It is evident that by the letter of the law this company has not broken any laws however offensive they might be to us and obvisouly many other companies as well.
Regards,
*** ***

To Whom It May Concern:
We are in receipt of complaint #*** filed on Monday, July 28, by *** ***While we understand that *** *** is frustrated with receiving communication from our company and
having to follow a standard and fairly simple opt-out process, we are in no way in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991, U.S.Cbecause the communication that we send by fax is not an advertisementRather than providing a detailed explanation, I have attached a ruling made on this specific scenario (and specifically naming our company in the ruling) by the FCC, specifically by the Deputy Chief / Telecommunication Consumers Devision / Enforcement Bureau of the Federal Communications CommissionWe follow all laws with regard to sending outbound communication and we take a lot of measures to ensure that those who opt-out do not receive communication with us in the futureTo make it as simple as possible, we allow people to opt out using an automated system accessible via a toll-free number, or they always have the option of emailing us or calling our toll-free number during business hoursWe hope that this response will put this matter to restWe will gladly respond in the same way to the Tennessee Reg Authority once we receive communication from themWe are proud of our Revdex.com A+ rating and we do whatever we can to ensure our company complies with all applicable laws and consumer requestsPlease feel free to contact me directly for more information at ###-###-####Sincerely,

Review: This company sent me a fax on 07-23-2014 without my permission for their own company purpose/gain. On the bottom of their fax they politely tell me if I dont wish to receive illegal faxes I can do some extra work and take measures so that I don't have my time, money, paper, ink wasted as well as ask them to STOP doing what they aren't supposed to be doing in the first place. Why is this my responsibility? We have filed a complaint with the FCC but also the Tennessee Reg. Authority in which an agent will be contacting this company. How can they be accredited by the Revdex.com A+ if the company doesn't abide by the law? Is it just "some" laws that needed to be followed? WHY would someone use their company if they ended up in trouble with the law? Bad business. Bad business.Desired Settlement: We have turned this matter over to the TN REG. AUTH and a case number is assigned. They will be contacted by an officer. It is this company who needs to take steps to assure they don't fax someone they didn't get prior authorization from, not the victim's responsibility. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991, 47 U.S.C. 227, makes it a violation of federal law for a person to use any telephone facsimile machine, computer, or other device to send an unsolicited advertisement (a "junk fax") to a telephone facsimile machine. The Act gives private citizens a right to sue to: (i) enjoin future transmissions, (ii) recover the greater of actual monetary damages or $500 in damages for each junk fax, or (iii) an injunction plus damages. If the court finds that the sender willfully or knowingly violated the Act, the court may increase the award up to three times the amount of damages. Not every fax is a junk fax that violates the federal law. To Whom It May Concern:

Review: I received a "survey invitation" to participate in a particular survey regarding the topic PARKINSONS DISEASE with a reference number of [redacted]. Upon receiving, I followed up with a call and set an appointment for April 12 2013 at 5:00 PM. I was then told to prepare for a video call on Friday April 15, 2013. I was then told I would receive a check by mail within 4-6 weeks.

I have called every week between May and now July having spoken to a receptionist or [redacted] at the number ###-###-####. Each time I receive a vague response, such as "we sent the check on the first of the month", or "we will FedEx a check and you'll receive within two days.Desired Settlement: When initially setting up the video conference, they had moved some dates around to adjust their schedule upon which [redacted] said they could pay a little extra for the inconvenience. All I want is the stated $100.00 for the paid survey.
