tests were ran and all started working when customer rebooted his equipment. A technician did go out to the premise and it was discovered that the customer had a dial tone run to both the house and to an outside shop area. There was no roof on the shop and it was flooded. The technician explained that this was part of the problem and with the customers agreement he disconnected the dial tone to the shop. He also tested the connection to the house and it was reading correctly for both the DSL internet and the telephone dial tone. The technician told the customer if he had issues again to let them know when the problem was happening so they could test at that time. We spoke with [redacted] on 10/15/2015 and he said that it is working much better. He has not had to power cycle his modem in several days now. He seemed to be ok with how the service is working. I ask him to please call us if it starts giving him trouble again.

Review: I hired [redacted] of [redacted] Plumbing and Heating to rough in two bathrooms and install plumbing fixtures, install a hot water heater and to install a booster pump. He started the work on December [redacted] and the work was to be completed within two weeks. The contract amount is $12,400 and I have paid him $10,000. From day one he has been very unreliable and has failed to show up or call for days on end claiming that he has had too many emergency calls to attend to. He sent the following schedule via email on 12/**/13 and failed to execute the work. "We will have 2 men at 50 Kyserike, Monday & Tuesday 12/** & 12/**. Monday 12/**/13 we will finish water lines, set fixtures and run heat. Tuesday 12/**/13 we will place vents through the roof and finish any loose ends with heating and plumbing" We sent several emails and left many voice mails for [redacted] over several weeks requesting a schedule for completion of the project. [redacted] finally called my husband on January [redacted] and told him that he would have guys on site on Monday January [redacted] to complete the job. Nobody showed up on Monday 1/** or on any day since then. [redacted]'s secretary sent an email yesterday claiming that they were missing washers we had provided them. This is so unprofessional. Your help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: Desired Settlement: Finish the Job

Response:

I met with [redacted] & [redacted] of [redacted] Construction to give them an estimate for work on their home. I was subsequently hired to install [redacted]baseboard heat for 2 baths and 1 bedroom [redacted]1 propane water heater [redacted]1 well tank for increased water pressure and [redacted]rough-in plumbing for 7 fixtures that were being provided by the [redacted]. Their residence was activley under construction for an addition and kitchen and bath renovation. The job site was being overseen by their [redacted].

I began work myself 12/**/13 and was on site through 12/**/13. Beginning 12/**/13 I had 2 plumbers on site. An inspection of the rough-in was scheduled for Friday 12/**/13 for 1:30 P.M. The inspector never showed. We were told by the town that the inspector called out. We set a new appointment for Tuesday 12/**/13 for 9:30 A.M. My secretary called dave to inform him of the new appointment. That same day Monday 12/**/13 at 1 P.M. my men were told to leave by [redacted]. That the floor had to be put down before we could install the fixtures and my men would be in the way. My men left and returned later that afternoon and were told again by [redacted] that we could not continue until the floor was set. I recieved an Email from [redacted] that evening asking why my men left and why the inspector never showed. [redacted] also questioned why I was not on the job myself and that I had different plumbers on site who did not "seem to know what was going on." I sent her a reply letting her know that my men where told to leave by her Forman. I also explained to her that as they know, being owners of a construction company themselves, it is not always possible to be on the job site. I employ very highly trained and licensed plumbers that are more then capable of handling any work given to them. I have also had the same team of plumbers on site with the exception of a few days in January when I sent my [redacted] who had previuosly been on site with me and had full knowledge of the job. I also informed [redacted] that on Tuesday 12/**/14 my secretary called [redacted] at 8 A.M. on his cell to see when he would be on site as we were set to have the inspection at 9:30 that morning. It was only then that we were informed by [redacted] that no-one would be at the job that morning and they would not be returning until Monday 12/**/13. I had to then re-schedule the inspection for Monday 12/**/13 at 9:30 A.M. I sent [redacted] a schedule on 12/**/13. We were to cut through the roof for a vent on 12/**/13. There was a tarp on the roof. As we were expecting a snowstorm, we were told by [redacted] to wait until 1/*/14 so that a decision could be made about the roof tarp.

Beginning 1/*/14 we have had extremly frigid temperatures with wind chills some days well below zero. We were inundated with emergency calls by customers with no heat, frozen/burst pipes and frozen well lines. Myself and my men have been working round the clock answering these calls, working 7 days a week since 1/*/14 to date. I did have plumbers at the job site when I was able. I had men there [redacted] through 1/**/14. Unfortunatley we are still experiencing very cold temperatures and are dealing with numerous emergency calls that require our immediate attention.

We would show up at the job to find the walls we were working in had been closed. We would be told where to install a baseboard only to then be told it was not in the right place or that the white was not the right color. We installed valves to then be told they did not like them and have yet to be supplied with the valves they would rather have. We installed thermostats only to be told we need to move them. The fixtures supplied to us by the [redacted] are showroom fixturesand therefore used. They're not in boxes nor is there any paperwork. They are just in a pile. Most of the fixtures are missing parts making them useless when installed. Some were missing all the washers. The faucet for the claw foot tub was missing the parts internally and would not divert water or turn off. The drain for the tub had clearly been cut with a saws- all making it useless to install and we put in a drain that we had. When [redacted] was informed of this I was told that I was making excuses and that my men must of lost the parts. My men did nothing to the fixtures. They were picked up out of a pile and installed. At no time did we take anything apart or remove anything from the fixtures.

To date the house is still under renovation. The bathroom shower still has not been tiled and can not be used until the man they hired to install the tile has done so. I have every intention of completing this job. I have had men there 1/**/14 & 1/**/14. Barring any unforseen circumstances that may come up that are out of my control, I expect the job to be completed within the next week or two.
