I brought in my car for service and my service advisor name is Richard R [redacted] The service was to program abs actuator and bleed brake systems..later I recieved a call stating that they couldn't bleed the rear brakes and they would have to charge me to find out the issue..But when I dropped off the vehicle I asked Richard do they have to re diagnose the issue to fix itHe says no we should be alrightRichard says he will work with me on the price since I brought my car their previously, so I said go ahead and fix itHe calls me later and tells me that the dash has to come out to replace a fuse behind the dashboard..I told him okI need my car fixedI went to pick up my vehicle and I inspect the car for quality of work and I notice that there is still dust on my dashboard and it doesn't look like it has been touchedThen I look underneath the hood and saw that that fuse was the same fuse I was trying to check myselfSo the dashboard did not have to come outI talked to the man

I had the worst experience possibleOne of the reasons that dealerships get a bad nameI've had my Scion tC in and out of their service department several times over the course of monthsThis all, due to problems that occurred shortly after having service completedTheir service manager, Kevin, is incompetent and their general manager, Mary, lacks communication amongst her staffTheir slogan is "we treat you right", but after a failure on a completely new engine that THEY fully assembled, they refused to conduct any repairs on their behalfI do not recommend that anyone go hereThey will take your money and screw you over

In december I bought a Toyota Sienna CertifiedNext day my wife told me about some noises from left front side it was a front axle it was in so bad condition that could be a reason for accidentMy wife and kids were in danger of accident because of that partThat was a Certified car and things like this should have no placeToyota replaced that axle but did not do aliment which is required after this kind repairRice Toyota gave car back to my wife and send her on the road again in not safe car ( steering wheel vibrations could be a reason for accident again April year my wife start having issues with car battery she could not start the car went back to Rice Toyota and was told that car battery is okHad this problem a few more times but did not go back to Rice toyotaToday she took me for my doctors appointment to Durham an hour away from home and we had a car battery problem againWe called Toyota ,for help , technician arrived and jump started my car

They took a $deposit from me, then sold the car to someone else anywayA new car was brought in from another dealership, then paid for in full with a check and I was told the $would be refunded to the card that was chargedThis has been going on for weeks and still no refundThe manager Nate was very nasty and rudeI was given paperwork showing my "refund" using my mothers name and some random MasterCard that does not belong to either of usI've visited the dealership and called multiple times and have received zero actual help with this matterThis is stealing! The car was totally paid for in FULL with a check, how is this legal to steal from a customer?!

I purchased a Toyota 4-Runner from Rice Toyota on November 22nd and I took delivery the same day of the vehicleUpon my return home with the vehicle, I checked my Facebook and an ad showed up on my Facebook feed from Rice ToyotaThe ad stated "Head on over to Rice Toyota and get your next car with us" Buy now and we'll cover your first two payments! Hurry in for this limited time offer."
I later sent the dealership a message regarding this ad because no-one at the dealership told me when I purchased my vehicle earlier that day that they would be making the first two payments on my new vehicleA day later, Mary R*** from the dealership called me and told me they would not be honoring their ad on facebook for my deal because I "already got their best deal" and she proceeded to essentially tell me that they would only honor this deal if you asked for it while negotiating your deal while at the dealerThe Facebook ad did not state this and their was no "fine print" on the Faceb

After negotiating a price for a vehicle with a sales manager(Neil K***) and sales representative (Keona C***), and the finance departmentI was sent a signed binding quote for purchase of a particular vehicleBased on that contract, I solicited funding for that vehicle and securred that funding from an outside sourceThis was in process over a day period of my time and effortDuring that time I was in constant contact with staff and personel employed by Rice ToyotaUpon securing the funds for purchase, I was unable to get hold of either of the agents listed above on April, I texted Mary R*** who is part owner of the business to inform her I wanted to make the down payment and go forward with the contracted and quoted purchase price of the vehicleUpon her involvement she informed me that she would not sell me the vehicle at the contracted priceThus I wasted not only my own time and money(to secure the bank loan and prompt expedition of the check(fully quoted pu

I will not return to Rice for any service work, now that warranty has run out Will not take time to explain the many issues, just they do not service the vehicle as they should The Toyota car does great, the dealer is the problem

I believe service was recommended and done that was not needed I was told I had steering fluid leaking and axle boot busted that was leaking grease When I got home, I wondered why there was no fluid on our garage floor I called and left a message with the service manager as I wanted to ask him if that was unusual to not see any fluid on the garage floor After a second request to have someone call me, no one returned my call

I had a rental vehicle for days and the rate was at $32/dayMy invoice stated that I was charged $but when I do the math 11x32=I asked for explanation on the hidden fees but got no explanationI requested for my card not to be charged until the issue is explained or resolved but they charged anyway

An increasing number of Toyotas are experiencing excessive oil consumption which may be the result of defective piston ringsToyota, in all their deny-till-we-die splendor, is reportedly denying warranty coverage on many oil consumption related problems and telling owners that burning through oil is normalI took my car to have the test done at Rice Toyota and was told it burned Qtand to come back in a couple months and do it again
Did what I was told and wouldn't you know it they tell me sorry that has expired and we cant fix itThen they tell me they are going to see the name of the Tech that handled my accountGuess what he is no longer working for them anymoreSo like any upset owner I complain and was told that the Service manager would call me and see what he could doI am still waiting for my call

I was not offer a test drive of the car or a complete review of the car inside or out or offer a car fax report
I purchased a Toyota Camry that was sold as like new due to the low mileage and as certified
I noticed a small scratch on the car and was told that would be repairedSince I was not offer an opportunity to fully look at the car inside or outside or offer a test drive I purchased the car at a price I would not have agreed to knowing there was a dent in the passenger doorThe dent has been repaired but I have requested the paper work associated with the repair and a car fax report since I did not receive oneMy telephone calls and emails are not being responded to

On November 24th I purchased a brand new Toyota Sienna late at night Throughout the sale process, I was straightforward that I wanted to transfer titles from my old car to my new car and I was reassured on multiple incidents this wouldn't be an issue They even moved the tag from my old car to the new car for me Weeks go by and I get a notification in the mail to pick up my new licenses at Rice Toyota on a small postcard (no phone calls are anything) I called Rice Toyota and explained that Rice transferred my title/plates to the new card and I received this in error After they looked into it they admitted to ordering the tag on accident They informed me that they had to issue the new tags because my wife was on the previous title and they registered this car in my name only Which we both had to sign over the old car and for the title and both my salespeople Kelvin and the financer said this wouldn't be an issue and I could keep my plates It seemed like they were mor

I completed a warranty purchase for which I have a signed contractAt the time of the purchase, the finance manager stated that the total purchase price for our vehicle included the warranty purchase and he would make all necessary price adjustmentsI left with the signed warranty and the belief that Rice Toyota would stand behind their promise, their word, and the signed contractI am now being told that the warranty was canceled because I failed to bring back a deposit which is 100% inaccurateI am deeply disturbed that this car company is not only not standing behind its contract, but is now sharing absolute falsehood and misrepresenting my characterNo one from the dealership ever contacted meI received no written or oral communication regarding any void to the original signed contractMoreover, while one component of the warranty is not being honored, I have a warranty contract number for the other component of the contract that was not canceled, fully indicating that
