Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below They told me they are going to call me to make arrangements to come pick up this so called free freezer [redacted] did not tell me we could keep the freezerWhen we signed up for the plan they told us they fit us with a plan for our family and they said we would not run out of food and IF WE DID, they would bring us more free of chargeWhich is exactly what they did for my friend [redacted] (after we had been going back and forth with [redacted] since the beginning of November) [redacted] called me the other day and said she would let me know when they would come pick up this freezer and she asked if we had made the last payment of $I said we had mailed it on Dec15th because it was dueSo she said, " In that case, Thank you!" and she did not offer to credit us...she just thanked us for paying it! I did not "decline" and [redacted] never offered to send us our $dollars backShe never offered to check with VFS and tell them not to cash our check eitherWhich is the reason I am speaking to you now.When I first spoke to [redacted] to explain to her about the food situation and find out when they were bringing the rest of the food, she said that [redacted] had given us the smallest package which is like a "senior citizen" food plan and she didn't know why he would give a family of that food planI told her then that that is his error thenThey sent [redacted] to our home to ask us questions and set up a food plan for usWe did so and their representative fit us with a plan they said would work for usThey said he has been doing this for years and he knows what plan is best based on the interview he came and did with us in our home [redacted] told us you will not run out of food and if you do, let us know and they would bring us more food at no charge to usAt no time did he say, if you run out of food we will offer you a plan triple what you're paying and we'll bring you a 3rd of the hold over food to get you through to the next order date! This was a bait and switch and I either want something in writing from them saying this freezer is ours to keep and that $we paid on the 15th back OR I would like 1/of the food money back since it only lasted us months and we purchased a month planSo of two things will work Either we want that $returned to us that she says she "was going" to credit but never offered to give it back after we said we already sent the check...and we want the freezer she told you they gave us for freeOR we want the $originally requested in the initial complaintIf they are telling you the freezer was free then why are they calling me telling me they will make arrangements to pick it up after the holidayAnd if they were going to credit the $then why didn't they say the would do that after we told them we already sent the check? They made no further offer to refund the money or not cash the check or send us the payment backShe could have offered to send us a check or she could have offered to call [redacted] and tell them not to process the payment...she did neither of those things Regards, [redacted]

Business response taken via phone on 12/28/by Revdex.com staff (**) We are a food company, we supply months of foodThe consumer has the option to buy a new freezer at end of term Consumer declined and we gave them a new freezer free of charge Consumer was spending roughly $a
month before enrolling in the plan, which is the smallest plan availableConsequently, the consumer ran out of food by electing this planWe offered free supplemental food, if she agreed to order a larger plan to accomodate her needs Consumer did not agree to this offer Additionally, we offered to pick up balance of $and the freezer which the the consumer also decline

So 1 of two things will work.  Either we want that $198 returned to us that she says she "was going" to credit but never offered to give it back after we said we already sent the check...and we want the freezer she told you they gave us for free. OR we want the $603 originally requested in the initial complaint. If they are telling you the freezer was free then why are they calling me telling me they will make arrangements to pick it up after the holiday. And if they were going to credit the $198 then why didn't they say the would do that after we told them we already sent the check? They made no further offer to refund the money or not cash the check or send us the payment back. She could have offered to send us a check or she could have offered to call [redacted] and tell them not to process the payment...she did neither of those things.
