[redacted]:We installed a water pump and water tank on a date Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] requested so they could be present to open the house.  The work was started and completed on 4/4/2016.The [redacted]'s were invoiced on 5/31/2016 and payment was due in 30 days by 6/30/2016.  We...

received no payment.  A monthly STATEMENT was sent beginning on 6/30/2016 with the original charge of [redacted] plus service charges. We called multiple times for payment, but received nothing.  On 11/29/2016 Mrs. [redacted] sent check [redacted] for [redacted], excluding the service charges of [redacted].On 7/3/2017 we received a call from Mrs. [redacted] saying they had no water...15 months following the installation of pump and tank, on which there was a one year parts warranty from date of installation(4/4/2016).[redacted] chooses not to work for customers who do not meet their obligations or, at least, set up a payment plan to do so.

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]I officially reject Mrs. H[redacted]'s resolve to the compliant I filed.  I am doing this to set the record straight.
Mrs. H[redacted]'s says that a contract never existed, only a proposal/agreement.  This is not true.  I received a quotation for replacement of my HVAC system from Mr. and Mrs. H[redacted].  Mrs. H[redacted] informed my Wife that we needed to sign the proposal and fax it back ASAP in order to be put in the work queue for faster service.  We followed her instructions, signed the quotation and state we needed two business days advance notice to take off work so I could be there when the work began.  We never heard back that this would be a problem.
A total of 6-7 weeks passed and no date for installation was set by the H[redacted]'s.  Multiple phone calls were made to Mrs. H[redacted] inquiring about an installation date but never received a concrete answer.   We continuously asked her to void the contract due to lack of any work being done but she said "she could not make that answer that question".  After 30+ emails (sent to through the H[redacted]'s business website) were never acknowledged or answered, multiple texts were also sent, again with no response.  We tried faxing our questions, asking about installation but received an automated voice message that the fax was disconnected.
After we filed a Revdex.com complaint, we received a very brief email from Mrs. H[redacted]'s stating that the contract was void due to the "customer" not being able to agree on an installation date.  Although this email confirmed the contract was null and void (which was fantastic!), the reason for the cancellation of the contract was again not a true statement.
I feel that the complaint we filed through the Revdex.com has been satisfied since we did receive documentation stating that the HVAC contract with Mr. And Mrs. H[redacted] was now void.  This allowed us to get another contractor to do the work which was completed in 10 days.
This response was written to set the record straight any inform the public that that Richard F H[redacted] Inc has very poor customer communication.

Review: We signed a contract with this company 7/10/16 for HVAC work to be done on our second home. We have emailed, called, texted and spoken to Mrs. H[redacted] (the contact person listed on the website) numerous times to obtain an install date. Her response is that she has to check and return my call. Our calls were not been returned. When I have spoken to Mrs. H[redacted], she has given me various reasons why the job had not been started: sickness, heat, job prior was large. As we wanted this work to be completed and tired of prolonging the matter, we decided to terminate this contract in order to look for another contractor to do this work. We have called, texted and emailed Mrs. H[redacted] to this effect and have asked her for a response confirming this cancellation. We have provided Mrs. H[redacted] with all our contact information and email address. We still have been unable to obtain a cancellation confirmation from this business.

We have had Mr. H[redacted] out in the past doing work for us and wanted him to do this HVAC system for us, but this lack of communication is frustratingDesired Settlement: Written confirmation from Richard F. H[redacted], Inc that our 7/10/16 contract for an HVAC system is cancelled.
