I have been a doctor for years, have done more than eye exams, pairs of glasses, pairs of progressive lens
glassesMrs*** recieved the same great care that I give to all my patientsAs a matter of fact, the person that referred her to me was a patient for yearsIf my care and service were not superior to other places, he and other patients would not come backShe could not adapt to the position of the new progressive lens, so after a couple of adjustments to the frame, I decided to remake the lens to a little lower positionI also checked and tweaked the rx, making it easier to adjust to the new rxAll of this was done at no charge, and I was happy to help herThe labs and progressive companies that all doctors use give a day, one remake policy no chargeWe did this, and she was still not happy, even though she could see far and near better with the new rx than the oldThe problem she is having with the contact lens are due to the fact that she is a new wearer, and doesn't know how to handle soft disposable contactsThis is the number one contact lens in the worldNo one else has any problems with itShe is a very difficult patient to deal with all through the entire processWe do not have any return policy at our office, because in years, we never needed oneAs far as our position in this matter, this case is closed and there will be no refunds or returnsThank you, Dr *** ***

First, I would like to change my desired settlement to $I finally found my receipt and this covers the cost of my glassesI hope someday to be able to wear the contactsI've been told by a professional that not every type contact lense fits every type eye, but I will continue to try
Next, I find Dr***'s response sad if he believes it to be the truth
Dr*** had to remake my lens because he erred the first time, admitting to me that I would not have been able to adapt(I was physically dizzy and nauseaus by the end of the week.)
After the remake, each time I went back, I told him that I could see better (near) out of my old glasses, yet I quote his response "even though she could see far and near better with the new rx than the old"Either Dr*** was not listening, or he is referring to his exam and not the actual glasses he made for me
His statement of "never needing a return policy"...well, on the day my husband and I picked up our glasses, we happened in on a very awkward situation with a disgruntled patient firmly and politely requesting a returnHe, also, was being denied
I am surprised at Dr***'s statement that I "was a very difficult patient to deal with all through the entire process"I was nothing but agreeable, kind and patient with him until the final visit when he he turned and walked away from me dismissively saying he could not work with me if I did not trust himI was stunned that he expected me to trust that this "one more adjustment" would solve the problem any better than any of the other many adjustmentsIf I couldn't focus clearly in his office, I don't know why he kept thinking giving it even more time would helpIf he and his products are as good - superior even - as he claims - why does he not have the courage to admit error and give a refund so that I can afford to get a second opinion, get new glasses made, and see if I have the same problemIf this problem exists from another lab, then I will admit my vision is the issue - and even pay Dr*** backHowever, focusing at work, as well as reading, continues to be a distraction and an effort to this dayIt is not so with my former pair
My husband and I experience his products (expensive, limited frame choices & lesser progressive lens clarity) and his service to be inferior to his claimsIn all our years we have never had to return for adjustmentsStaff at clinics we've gone to in the past *** *** *** *** *** *** all took the time to assure our glasses were adjusted properly before we ever left the premisesNever once were we instructed to "give it time"If Dr*** had not repeatedly sent me out the door unsure of my vision, this entire process would not have taken so much time, been so stressful, nor would this Revdex.com claim be necessary
I respectfully request a $refund so that I may afford a second opinion and the chance at proper glassesI believe this to be the most equitable and honest solutionIf this is not agreeable, I regretfully will have to gather witnesses and pursue arbitration
