I called and spoke with *** and she told me again what happenedAfter checking, she purchased a Base Powertrain Warranty but was led to believe that it covered more than the powertrainI offered to cancel that warranty for her if she'd like and she's going to consult with her Uncle first
and let me knowI explained that since the vehicle is financed the warranty refund will go to *** *** toward the principal of the loanI also offered to do the repair and waive all labor costsThis would result in a $discount leaving her to pay for the $in partsShe said that since she submitted the complain, the decided to order a part online and do the repair themselvesOur next step is to cancel her warranty if she wishesWe're waiting for her to let us know

We've reached back out to [redacted] for clarification and it seems that there was some confusion on their end because South Carolina is one of the states where the refund checks go directly to the lienholder or the customer, not the dealer. They did say that there's a chance that the customer receives a refund check directly from them in the mail but they are going to call us back with more information.
We don't want our customer having to wait for the banks or warranty companies so we have a check available for the customer to pick up now. We only ask that if [redacted] or the Warranty Company sends the refund check again, that the customer let us know so we can get it squared away. I apologize for the confusion, as totaling your car is frustrating enough.
Come by any day and pick up this check. It's sitting on my desk. Or, if the customer prefers, we can mail it to him.

Horrible service! No one knows what there doing! I live almost 3 hours away and they call and tell me to come test drive a vehicle and when I finally arrive, it took them 20 minutes to even find the car and then it wasn't drivable because the clutch was broken, I can't drive a clutch and they did not tell me it was a clutch! I find another car that seemed decent and I was approved for it, the very next day, the breaks almost went out, and I took it to a shop and the roters are warped beyond fixing. I called the dealership to replace the roters and they says they can't do it and then never returned the call like they said they would. The fan belt started knocking. I find a recall on the computer program that went out 3 years ago. I get the title in the mail and they signed it, not allowing me to place my tag on the car. I finally get a power of attorney letter to get the tag and the tag office informed me that the dealerships application has me responsible for the fees and it's over $500!!! I called the dealership and no one returned the call! I have never in my life had such horrible people or service!! Never send anybody to this dealership!! They are nothing be a rip off and scam artists!!
