HEARD THE NOISE AND WE WENT BACK AGAIN. WE HEARD THE NOISE AND REDIRECTED THE HEAT LINES AND REPLACED THE AIR VENT (AS PER [redacted] REPRESENTATIVE). WE ALSO HAD A REPRESENTATIVE FROM [redacted] COME TO THE HOUSE AND FOUND NOTHING TO BE WRONG WITH THE INSTALLED BOILER. THE ORIGINAL JOB WAS A GAS CONVERSION WHERE WE TOOK OUT THE OIL FIRED BOILER AND REPLACED WITH A GAS FIRED BOILER.NO PIPING WAS TOUCHED IN THE HOUSE. AFTER SPENDING APPROXIMATELY SEVEN EXTRA HOURS LOOKING FOR THIS NOISE AND DOING TROUBLESHOOTING, IT IS FELT THAT THIS NOISE WAS PRESENT PRIOR TO OUR COMPANY DOING A NEW INSTALLATION AND WE HAVE DONE EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO FIND THE SOURCE BUT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE UNIT THAT WAS INSTALLED.

Review: My complaint revolves around my conversion from oil heat to natural gas completed on Sept. * 2014.

Richard P. Deegan and Sons, Inc. did the installation of my new gas furnace. This problem did not become obvious until mid October when we started to call for heat on a regular basis.

The problem is that when zone 3 ( three zones in house) calls for heat it creates a high pitched whine which reverberates through that line and we can plainly hear it in our bedroom and is bad enough to keep us awake or from falling asleep. It is very annoying to say the least.

Deegan and Sons have tried to fix this problem on several occasions, the last was Dec **, 2014. I have a log of times and dates if necessary.

[redacted] was to arrange for a representative of the furnace manufacturer, [redacted], to look at the problem. On March **, 2015 a representative from a distributor, not the manufacturer, came to look at the problem. He made a couple of recommendations to [redacted] from Deegan Plumbing. None of which have been implemented. I have not heard from [redacted] since April **, 2015 when he said he was waiting to hear from [redacted], the valve manufacturer. He told me at that time [redacted] did not make house calls.

They have failed to fix this problem. I want this problem solved and they have no plans to try again to rectify this. After spending approximately $9,000 for a brand new system it should operate properly and the way it was designed to do.Desired Settlement: Need to have this high pitched whine fixed so it is no longer an issue and my system running as designed. This was a brand new and very costly expense not to have this working as planned and Deegan and Sons is accountable under their warranty.

Prior to your installation there was absolutely no noise emanating anywhere from existing furnace and piping. Something that you did has caused this high pitched whine. How can you say that no piping in my house was touched. You had to open all existing pipes and rework them to fit new boiler. You have changed things and somehow this is creating the noise. You have not fixed this problem. I believe there is more you could do to resolve this but you are unwilling to invest in fixing it.

Prompt and professional response. 3 small leaks were repaired in 45 min. Plumber answered all questions with respect and up to the point.

Richard P. Deegan was contracted to install plumbing fixtures for a small bathroom remodel. One of the fixtures was a concrete shower pan. The shower pan I received is damaged (cracked on the front corner) and I believe it was damaged prior to, or during installation. The shower pan is also not level - water is not draining toward the drain properly and is pooling near the edge. This was not apparent to me until after the tile job was completed and the shower door installed and we began using the shower. The company is claiming that the shower pan was in perfect condition and level when it was installed and I must have dropped something to crack it. They are not willing to work with me in any way to rectify the situation. The manager actually insulted and accused me of trying to "get something for nothing." I just want a functional shower. I remodeled a 5' x 5' bathroom and spent over $10K - I just want it to be right.
