I spoke with Charlie J*** on Friday and he said that he and the general manager from *** *** will be going out to Mr***'s house on Tuesday, April 28th to address his concerns

Our warranty states that we will only provide parts that have a manufacturing defect In this case that would be the insulated glass unit only If *** *** would like the sash she can order the sash from one of our distributors, with the glass installed and pay the difference for the vinyl

Our warranty states that Viwinco, Incwill provide the purchaser with a replacement sealed glass unit at a no charge Our labor warranty is only year and since the windows were purchased in 2010, the labor warranty has expiredOur warranty can be viewed on our website at www.viwinco.com

Since we were unaware of this complaint in the office, I have reached out to our distibutors and our salesman. It is not listed which distributor the windows were purchased at and the warranty number is not listed, I have been trying to find more information out about this claim. Our
salesman Charlie J*** has left Mr*** a couple of messages, but he has not gotten a response. If Mr *** would call our salesman Charlie J*** he can talk to him about his complaint

I am rejecting this response because: I don't know what model windows I got! The fact of the matter is that whatever windows I did get are not doing there job My home has been cold, damp and very uncomfortable since they were installed From day one they have been drafty and your service tech had to come out and make several alterations to the very brand new windows that in my opinion were improperly manufactured

As I stated earlier, we have no way of knowing what is on the contract between [redacted] and his contractor.  If he did not receive the windows that were on his contract, then he would need to discuss that matter with his contractor.  We received the order from our distributor and it was made the way that they placed the order.

After doing some investigation we found, the windows that were ordered are our New Construction S-Series windows.  This order was placed that way from our Distributor, so if [redacted] did not receive the windows that he wanted he would need to take that up with his contractor. ...

After speaking with our outside salesman, I found out the [redacted] had condensation on the outside of his home, which means the windows are doing what they are supposed to do. They are to keep the outside air from getting in.  Condensation is not a manufacturing defect; it is cause by moisture and humidity.  The Revdex.com has a section on their website that will explain more of this.  As far as [redacted]’s screen issue, he doesn’t have the locking half screen that is on the [redacted] window, because his windows are not [redacted] windows. Since the windows seem to be performing the way they should, unfortunately  we are unable to do anything else for [redacted] at this time. We are sorry that he is unhappy with his windows.

We as a company are sorry that [redacted] is unhappy and having this problem.  We have researched his complaint and found that the screen complaint was taken care of.  The screen that was installed into the home had a small amount of movement, but no day light is showing through the...

window and the 1/16 that the screen is short is acceptable in the window industry.  The glass is at [redacted] in West Mifflin, PA under our order [redacted], with a PO of [redacted]  It was manufactured 2 years ago. We are under the impression that [redacted] was taking care of the glass, but this is something that [redacted] would need to work out with [redacted].  The limited lifetime warranty states that the labor warranty is only for 1 year and since the windows were manufactured in 2010, the labor warranty for us to install the glass has expired. We have filled the warranty by supplying a free piece of glass.
