Review: At the time of my emergency visit to [redacted] in 2011, I was only 15 years old. For some inexplicable reason, I was informed by Transunion Credit Reporting that I have three unpaid collection debts from my visit to the hospital and that Richard Sokoloff Esq has me listed as the guarantor for those debts---in lieu of my paternal parent who was listed as the guarantor initially in 2011. Because of this error, I am unable to secure a student loan in my name. [redacted] billing has already charged off the unpaid accounts and has my father listed as the guarantor, not me. They told me that Richard Sokoloff Esq is fraudulently attempting to obtain debt collection on these debts which were charged off and that they are pursuing the wrong party for payment. They need to pursue my father, not me.Desired Settlement: A letter absolving me of all responsibility to all the debts they have on file with regards to to [redacted] as well as a letter to all three credit bureau reporting agencies absolving me of all debt repayments since I was a minor and not the guarantor. I want clearing of my credit reports and monetary damages for not being able to secure a student loan when I turned 18. I also want a phone call from them.

Sincerely,

Review: [redacted] contacted me regarding a medical bill for my 11 year old son. She had a nasty attitude. When she called she has no idea the patient was a child. She seemed more interested in gathering information about me and how they might collect money than about helping me research and resolve the issue. I asked how they knew medical records about my son as my understanding about HIPPA laws prevented that. She informed me that since they are attorneys these laws don't apply to them. After I researched the bill I realized I had paid it. She requested a copy of the check which I supplied. A month later she called me again, with the same nasty attitude while I was at work. She was asking me questions like account number and exact dollar amounts and just expected me to have all information on hand. She advised me that their client 24-7 emergency care had not received the money and that I needed to pay it again. She told me that the check I sent her was for the hospital. I advised that I had paid the hospital separately and to the hospitals name not their clients name. I advised that her client was mistaken and we needed to find out where the money from the cancelled check went. I asked for her clients phone number and she refused to give it to me. At this point she beings again asking questions about where I live and whom I am. Clearly again trying to gather information about me and not resolve the issue. I hung up with her and looked up the number to 24-7 emergency care. I was able to speak with a representative who confirmed that I did not have a balance. I called [redacted] back, got her voice mail and advised her of whom I spoke, what the outcome was and that if I was to hear from her again it would be considered harassment. Within 5 minutes she called me again. I advised her that I left the information on her voice mail and she was not to contact me again. She informed me that she is not listening to her message when I was capable to giving it again. My phone dropped the call. She called me back againDesired Settlement: I would like a letter acknowledging that the debt has been cleared off their records as well as an apology for her attitude and harassment.

I am being harassed by this lawyer for a payment on a hospital bill that was covered by insurance. He continues to send threatening letters about reporting me to credit agencies if I do not pay. There is no payment due from on this bill.
