***'s work is extremely substandard I did not check for reviews before hiring him, had I saw one of his reviews I would have steered clear The review I read is precise The workers are inexperienced and there is no prep work That was my biggest point of concern with *** and he didn't correct his work and eventually backed out of completing the project I agreed with this because the work was terrible
I hired Richard (dba Richard's Painting & Remodeling) to paint my houseThe work started, but it became evident that the work was of poor qualityThere was little in the way of surface prepNo sanding, no power washingRichard's two helpers were obviously not experienced painters and did sloppy workI discussed the lack of quality with Richard twice but there was no improvementAfter three days I let him go, losing my deposit, which was half of the cost of the job
