Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] An invoice was delivered to our house, and had noted that they will not warranty drainage caused by where we park(tire grooves etc.) However, our complaint is that the installation of the driveway created a "dished" area in the center of the driveway, causing a puddle about 1/2" deep right where the driver of the car parked on the right side of the driveway exits the vehicleStepping into the puddle is unavoidableThis will also cause an icy spot when the cold weather arrives, creating a slipping hazardThis has nothing to do with settling due to parkingThe driveway should have been "crowned" in that area to allow water to run off the sides of the drivewayPlease see the attached photo, the roller marks are visible in the pictureIt appears that not enough material was used in that area, creating a depression in the center of the driveway Thank you, *

There was never a warranty and they knew this...their driveway had to be pitched to get rid of the water so much so its higher I front of their garage? We never do this we did this to help but it may have not been enough It is a very small driveway As far as the concern about not enough material used...we have been in business for over years we did not stay in business by skimping on materials especially on something SO small I really am sorry they r not happy but there really is nothing that can be done.Richards Paving

Before work was even started they were told that there driveway could not be guaranteed against water drainage or sink marks...it is marked on the contract and they have signed the contract.(see attachment) we try to do the best we can and hate to see any complaints especially when we instructed

was quoted on and she received a written estimate which explained in detail what was to be done Your letter was not filled with great detail as to what her exact complaint was, it only stated she wished to have her money back to hire a new company Not only did she get the exact job that was explained to her in writing but I also offered to go back and lay more gravel in her driveway if she was still dissatisfied After that conversation I told her I would bring her a few more samples of different gravel for her to choose from I had not heard from her since that conversation until I received your letter I’ve tried my best to give her what she wanted but I honestly feel she is trying to get something for nothingHer gravel job was originally quoted for $2,in which she complained she had no money and couldn’t afford thatSo, I tried to help her out and took $off the price of the job I’m sorry that she is unhappy with her job but she was given the exact job that was explained and written out on her estimate If you have any more questions please reply to this email or you can reach me at ***.Thank you,*** ** ***, OwnerRichards Paving
