Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was not home if he really came out to work on the roofHe knows where my business is if he really intends to talk to me he would have come to my officeI really do not know how to make it more clearThe Roof still leaks in the very same place it was leaking from when I first hired him to repair that leakRichard knows exactly where it is leaking from because he came inside and I showed him where it is leaking from the first time he came out and contrary to his response he came inside my house when he came to my house when I reported that my roof was still leaking in the same placeI paid him $for 1hr and min workAgain he unknowingly told me that he overcharged me when he came out to access the report that it was still leakingAll he needs to do is fix the leak that he was paid forI am will not accept anything elseHe needs to fix the leak as the ceiling is being damaged more each time there is rain or snow the kitchen still leaks from the exact same placeSince I feel that he will never accept responsibility I will take the surveillance video of the first work he did to show the time he was there, the surveillance video of the time he says that I didn't let him in the house to access the recurring leak ( he is on video coming into my house that day), the estimates from his competitor for the over priced job he did and the audio recording of him telling me that "there is no way I charged you $for this job, No way" and file a lawsuit in District court in [redacted] **This needs to be made public so as many of his potential victims will know how he does businessI will have a real roofer fix my roof and I will see him in court and on the internetThank you Revdex.com for your attempts to help make this rightAll this guy wants is money and he already has mine Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

I am rejecting this response because: Richard isn't being honestHe came by the house like I said in the complaint and he did come insideI showed him that the leak is in the same exact place and he refused to fix itHe admitted to overcharging me as I stated in the complaint as wellHe said he should have charged me $for the repair and he charged me $Richard obviously is not very honest or he would have not overcharged me (to his admission) and he would have just fixed the problem without delayAgain he told me that he would come out the next day to repair the leak and he said he would also fix another area that he didn't repair the first timeHe never showed upRichard avoided my calls and that is why I have filed complaints with the Revdex.com, the state attorney generals office and I am waiting for these complaints to be disposition so I can file a law suit against him, because I am positive that this guy is dishonest and he will not resolve this issueHe had made no attempt to go to my house to repair as he promised and he has made no attempt to call me eitherI will place reviews on every review service on the web so that potential customers will see that they should avoid his company

Verbal Response:First of all the leak was on the other section of the roof, a section of the roof that I did not repairHe has sent me a letter that he wants canals repairs, I am willing to do this for himBut his roof is old and he will be needing to replace his roofI am not going to charge him for repairing these canalsI called him and he has not returned my callsI even called his office, and spoke with one of his employeesI can not go up on the roof without his permission, I am willing to help him but he needs to contact me.Richard M***

I Richard went to *** *** house on Tue 12: noon his truck was there and lights were on in home he did not open door we worked on house even thou he didnt open door I am sending you pictures on side off roof we did not work on that I leaking he will not return my calls or doorsI did not over charge him for roof. I am rejecting this response because: The leak is coming into the house from the same exact spot in the ceiling in the first placeI cannot emphasize this enough, I still have a leak coming into the house from the exact same place (above the stove in my kitchen.) The same spot that I showed him when he came out this spring to give me an estimateNothing has changedIn Richards first response to this complaint he states that "The consumer refused to allow Richard’s Roofing owner to go inside the home to look for the leak" when he came out to my house after the repair has failedI have security surveillance in my home and I have video recording of him coming into my house and of him measuring the kitchen to determine where the leak is in my kitchenHe says I sent him a letter? I never asked him about the canales and do not know what they have to do with the failed roof repairSo lets be very clearThis is what will have to take place in order for me to drop this complaint and to stop the lawsuit. I paid him to stop the leak in my kitchen over my counter and next to my kitchen stoveAfter the first snow it STILL LEAKS IN THE VERY SAME PLACEHe was hired to repair the roof to stop the leak and he has not accomplished that yetIf the water is coming in from a different place (which I doubt), then he should have stopped the leak the first timeSince, IT IS LEAKING FROM THE VERY SAME PLACE AS PRIOR TO THIS REPAIR.I was overcharged by himWhich was pointed out to me BY HIM, when he came out to access the failed repairAt that time he stated that he never charged me $for the hr and min job that he didHe stated that the very most that he could have charged me was $(which is still very high for the work he performed)He told me that I was exaggerating the amount that I paid himI want him to refund the overcharge $or deliver the work on my roof equal to the amount that I paid himFrankly, it is a shame that this guy is allowed to do business in our communityHe has deliberately lied to this investigation (stated I would not allow him to come inside to assess the situation) and to me several times dealing with him on the repair and the failed repair assessmentEither he delivers the result I paid him for and fulfills the amount of work I paid him for or refund the difference as explained or this cannot be settled hereIn that case a court of law will decide.
