Customer purchased a sofa and 2 chairs in March of this year. Customer changed the original sofa to a custom ordered sofa as she has stated. Deposit was made and as most customers want their furniture as soon as possible salesperson ordered...

custom sofa and marked the 2 chairs on floor to customer. The chairs are now the customers and can not be sold to anyone else as a deposit has been put on them. Custom order furniture is not subject to cancellation as noted on the sales ticket, and is a common practice with most furniture stores in the business.
We now have 2 chairs and a custom sofa in inventory we have held for customer for months now.
The cost associated with holding this merchandise and not being able to sell it to other customers during this time frame, and the cost of having a custom order sofa which we now have to deal with, we do not believe customer is entitled to a refund of her deposit.
