We are at a loss at what to do to make the customer happyAfter *** purchased the vehicle a short time later she did complain of a hard downshift in the transmission at which time we replaced a 1/shift solenoid*** said the problem still existed*** was busy and made multiple trips to
Pennsylvania (with the ***) so it was hard to work out a time when she could leave the vehicle replace the transmissionWe told her whenever she was ready we had the transmission so just to let us knowShe said with her schedule it was not a priority for herShe had come in to make her payment on 4/and we had asked if she was available to leave the car that following week and she told us she was taking another trip to Pennsylvania (in the vehicle she says is unsafe but keeps taking multiple out of state trips)On her return home she ran into an issue where the vehicle went into safe mode and would not accelerate over mphThis condition was caused by a faulty wheel speed sensorIts very common for the *** ***s to do thisAll wheel speed sensors need to read the same speed or the vehicle will go onto a safe mode not allowing full acceleration*** expressed her concerns and we got the vehicle in the garage the next dayReplaced the abs speed sensor (completely free of charge) and the condition no longer existed At which time we called *** and let her know her car wa drivable againAnd we would have time the following week to complete thr transmission jobShe was very upset and thought we were trying to pull one over on herNot the case at allWe just had a completely full schedule for the weekShe said she would rather just leave the vehicle until the transmission job was completeAt that time we drove the car and believed the transmission to shift as designedHowever we knew that *** was really upset and we already had the transmission here for her carAt that time we decided to go ahead and install the transmission even though we believed it to be shifting properlyWe test drove vehicle after the install and it did upshift and downshift in order but it was definitely not as smooth shifting as the original transmissionSo now here we areWe spent over $to replace a transmission we felt did not need to be replaced Our customer is not happyAnd we are really not sure where to go from hereWe left a copy of the receipt in the vehicle so *** would know that we replaced it, but she still says we are dishonest? We still have the transmission that came out of it just for proof of that as wellAlso not sure why she would feel bullied or intimidated, at one point we were both angry with each other on phone, but agreed to have a civil discussion and we both apologized to each other for getting angryWe do feel horrible she is not satisfiedShe has driven the vehicle a lot for someone who says the car is such a problemI believe she has put over miles per week on the vehicle since she got itShe almost put miles on it in monthsAgainNot sure what we can do to solve this problem
