Review: ON 12/09/13 I purchased a 95 Toyota 4Runner from Richies Auto Sales. They advisied me that it had a BRAND NEW ENGINE, a 3 month warranty and a new door already ordered. I sent them an email 12/10/13 advising of multiple issues with the vehicle. They advised they would take care of it. On 12/16/13 I sent another email advising of previous issues with the car and additional issues found that required repair. I took the vehicle in on 12/16/13 to be repaired. I sent another email inquiring when vehicle repairs would be completed. When I picked up the vehicle several days later only a couple minor issues were fixed. I sent another email on 12/27/13, the delay due to the fact they were not taking issues due to holiday. IN this email I advisied of all the issues which were still not taken care of. In this email I requested a copy of the invoice for the NEW ENGINE, as I was VERY concerned that they had lied to me. There were fluids leaking from engine, it made sounds which didnt sound right, the engine was quite loud (Possible exhaust issue) and the car did not have the appropriate amount of power. I took the car back to them and again they advised it was fixed. I sent another email on the 30th advising of engine leaks. There have been many visits to attempt to get vehicle repaired. Finally as they were not repairing vehicle I requested my old car back which they had replaced engine in and advised they could keep the $4598 I paid for 4runner to pay for the engine in my old car. They refused. They also refused to repair 4runner. Their final comment IT IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM. I am forced to seek help from somewhere. I have positive knowledge that there are many many other people who have been swindled by these people. HELP please!Desired Settlement: PLEASE! I just want either my car, the 2001 hilander back, letting them keep the $4598 for the repairs done to it or that they repair the 4runner,so it is reliable as promised, which is at their lot with an engine which does not function, which broke down on me 02/03/14 and had to be towed to their lot. All I want is a reliable safe car to take me to work. There is also the matter of $680 I had to put into repairs at a reputable repair shop in order to try to stop the transmission fluid leak.

Consumer states that she has been in contact with the company and they have agreed to work with her. She states that they have signed an agreement that the company will do all the repairs to customers satisfaction. Complaint is resolved.
