I found this company on [redacted], first clue that it may not be a good bet. But I did set up to have a fence taken out and replaced with a new fence. The work was done well, but the last day, the crew told me that they did not have enough materials to finish the gates, and they would be back. The gates were, and are serviceable. They told me that they would return the next day, but never did. Repeated calls to the owner, Luis Q[redacted], had promises to return, but never did. The last time I called, the business owner hung up on me, and to make matters even more frustrating, he called me back twice, hanging up both times when I answered! Unfortunately, I had paid the full amount, before receiving all the promised work.... my lesson learned.

Review: I contact Richmond Fence to give me a quote on putting up a fence in my back yard. I told him when he arrived that I had other contractors bidding on the job. Richmond Fence was awarded the job on April 28, 2015. Work was started on May 7, 2015. It was the worse deal I ever made. The gentleman that came out to do the job was not prepared to do the job when he arrived. I have underground utilities and the company never contacted [redacted] to have line marked. The gentlemen dug the post holes by hand and installed the post. The following week I had to call [redacted] and ask him when the job was going to me completed. I have called him over 20 time now to get this job done correctly In the corner of my property there was to be installed a gate. There is a easement that the power company has and needed to be accessible. On first inspection I notice chicken wire placed over the opening. I call numerous time before someone came out to correct the problem. Now there is fence there but no gate. Southside Electric has to have access to this area! Also there are numerous defects in workmanship that have been discussed with [redacted] that have not been corrected also. I have called numerous times only to be told next week each time. It has been almost 2 months since this job started and should have been done in 2 days max. I am asking for $500.00 to be refunded to correct the multiple problems on this job or the problem corrected.Desired Settlement: I would like the job to be finished. 1) gate in corner properly installed2) front corner of fence to be corrected 3) double gate is warped needs to be fixed along with several post
