Review: I am from Virginia Beach but work in Washington, DC. On 05/03/2015, I dropped off my [redacted] at Richmond Harley Davidson to get a new front tire and replace all fluids with synthetic fluids. On 05/16/2015, [redacted] called me from the service department and told me my estimate for the repairs was $315.80. I picked up the MC on 05/23/2015 and was told my total was over $700 dollars. [redacted] apologized and advised that original estimate was only for the tire and not for all the work. She was able to get my total down to $538.00 because she found and took off EXTRA items (bearings even though my bearings were good). She told me that was a mistake. I paid the bill and left. On the way back to DC, the MC stalled a few times and I almost got into an accident on 95 coming back to the location. I rode the MC back to the shop and was undeniably upset. [redacted] and the mechanic took the bike back to the service area and I apologized to [redacted] and the other desk girl several times for being upset and explained I understood it was not their fault. The mechanic looked at the MC and indicated I had a loose battery connection. [redacted] explained they didnt remove the seat even though she told me a battery check was part of a regular service, so I find that contradictory. The problem was fixed. On 05/24/2015, I attempted to ride my MC to the Rolling Thunder ride in DC. When I turned the MC off to get gas, it indicated the key fob was not connected to the MC and therefore would not start. I replaced the battery in the key fobs, and eventually had the MC towed ($100 dollars) to anther Harley Davidson dealer. They told me the fuel pack was placed on top of the key fob antenna causing it to break. The repair cost me $76. I called [redacted] to tell her the problems and she was defensive and rude, claiming HD was not responsible. I believe HD is responsible since it was the direct result of the mechanic attempting to fix my MC.Desired Settlement: Initially I was not looking for any reimbursement for any of the work performed by Richmond Harley Davidson, but I am looking for reimbursement for the $100 tow, the $76 repair at the other Harley Dealer and $100 cab rides into/back DC due to the MC being broken down.

Review: I rode my bike to the shop on Saturday, 5/30 because I heard a noise. The tech pulled by bike down & told me it was the cam chain tensioner. Quoted me $1,700 to fix. Not wanting to spend a lot of money in repairs since I was already thinking of trading up, I asked sales for a trade quote. [redacted] said he needed to run my credit before he quotes a trade. I told them that was absurd! Were they going to give me less/more based on my credit score?? After a debate and customers in the showroom telling me [redacted] treats ppl like that depending on their race because he had just made a [redacted] joke, I became heated and left the dealership. I called [redacted] in service on Monday & told her to go with the repair to fix the bike so I could trade in. [redacted] called me on Friday 6/5 saying the bike was almost back together and I could pick it up Saturday after they clean the bike up and test ride. She called me appx. 10:00am Saturday saying when the started the bike they heard the same noise so the tech was going to check it out. I called [redacted] at 2:30pm for an update. [redacted] said [redacted] was busy but would have her call me. Appx 15 mins later, I receive a text message from [redacted] personal cell saying call her when I receive the 4 pictures she'd sent. I called & she said they pulled the bike back down & determined my pistons & cams were shot. I was livid!!! She said she was waiting on the tech to quote a price on repairs. I asked how was it they diagnose the problem & quote a price for repairs then come back saying that didn't fix the problem???? I told her to put the bike back together & I would pick it up. She said she didn't advise me to ride the bike but could if I wanted to but I would need to sign a waiver saying they advised against me riding it. She offered to have it delivered free of charge. I went to the dealership to settle my bill for the repairs they "suppose" to have done. They delivered my bike on Thursday, 6/11. Guess what .. it took 7 tries to start the bikeDesired Settlement: I paid them $1121.00 to fix my bike but when the bike was returned to me, it won't start. I want my money back.
