When I locked myself out of my house, I looked at this website to find an accredited locksmith and chose this oneAs soon as I called the number, a friendly voice answered, quoted me a price (steep, but not unusual), and showed up at my house minutes laterIt took *** one minute to pop open my door, minutes to process my payment, and then it was back to businessFor less than minutes, with a friendly service and smile, I give this business a top rating

The other day, I wasn't paying attention and locked my son and I out of the houseThis wouldn't have been a problem if my mother wasn't inside sleeping with the door boltedI don't have a key to the bolt either!
I called and spoke with a very pleasant woman who took my information and almost immediately after hanging up * ***the technician) called me and seemed to really sympathize with my plightWithin fifteen minutes *** showed up and not only let my son and I back into the house, but re-keyed the bolt for me so I don't have this problem in the future!

Hi,
At this time, I have not been contacted by Richmond Locksmith Emergency 24/7 regarding complaint ID [redacted]. Will this go on their record?
Regards,
[redacted]

I got locked out and called at 630 pm, was quoted $15 service fee and "starting at $29". After 30 mins the technician arrives and quoted $220! I asked what kind of door would have cost $29 and called again and a very rude gal who answers the phone never answered my question. She just kept yelling I SAID "STARTING AT $29". I was also advised if I called someone else I would still have to pay because the technician was already here. It's Highway robbery. The technician unlocked the door in less than 3 minutes. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Review: A man came and opened my car door after a request for 100.00. I refused and the price dropped to 70.00. He opened the door but refused to give a receipts for credit cards. No ID requested or anything that has a paper trail. He called someone's number and began telling them thst it was ok repeatedly. Then he told me to give that person my card number. I refused because he didn't know how she would give me a receipt.. He then floundered and then provided receipts from another company's logo and said I have receipts and then stated thst I could get an e-mailed receipt.I refused to pay him due to strange behavior s and no outright policy and he drove off. No documents for signatures no company's logos and no office reported. I feared for safety and may have been robbed if he had my credit card number.Desired Settlement: I would like an investigation into this company's practices and legitimacy.

When I locked myself out of my house, I looked at this website to find an accredited locksmith and chose this one. As soon as I called the number, a friendly voice answered, quoted me a price (steep, but not unusual), and showed up at my house 7 minutes later. It took [redacted] one minute to pop open my door, 2 minutes to process my payment, and then it was back to business. For less than 10 minutes, with a friendly service and smile, I give this business a top rating.

Review: On Sunday, 2/7, I called American Local Locksmith and they advised the price for your services would be a $29.00 service fee and the service would start at $19.99. I told them the type of vehicle that I had- a [redacted] and they confirmed the estimate for your services. would start at a total of $49.99 ($29 plus starting at $19.99). Therefore, I ordered the service. When the representative from Richmond Locksmith 24/7 called to advise he was on his way, we again discussed that I had a Toyota Camry. When the representative arrived at my address, he announced that the service would cost $95, not $19.99, for a total of $124. I asked him why the sudden drastic change in price, and he said that $95 was what they charged to unlock Toyota Camry's (for some unknown reason). I asked him if that was the case than why they would tell me the price to unlock a Toyota Camry would start at $19.99 and he had no answer. If I had known the service was going to be a total of $124, instead of something closer to $49.99, I would not have ordered the service and would have waited for my husband to get home. This is a very unethical business practice.Desired Settlement: Given your very misleading business practices, I expect that I be issued a partial refund so that my total charge reflects a total quoted price closer to the advertised starting price $49.99. I told you what type of vehicle I had in advance when the price was quoted to me, and you gave me the wrong price. I am even willing to pay as much as $75 total (including tax) which I believe to be within the realm of reason, which means you still need to provide me with a $49 refund.
