We did not do any business with [redacted] so she doesn't even know what's really going on with the project  , we spoke  with her husband and his brother n law in this matter .  and its  [redacted]  not [redacted] We got...

hired by the owners bother in law just for the record  , with the price of 2,700 hundred dollars , they told us that they were going to demo the steps n patio , and also bring the materials all we had to do is build the steps and a patio , so we agreed on it , so we put them on a schedule but they called us if we can do it early , so we squeezed 3 days to start their steps and patio , so we stop what we were doing and we when to start their job since they need it to get done early , and I told the owner and is brother and law that make sure all the materials are their and the place is ready to start to build , cause I will be done in three days . so they promised us that everything will be their and the place will be clean up . Monday morning may 21 we bring 3 guys to start their work , the owners bother and law tells me that the materials are their but they brought the wrong ones , and he told us that the supplier will be their early in the morning to exchange them with the right materials , so in that cause we were their Monday morning to start , we are getting ready to check for high of the steps make sure everything will come out is it was , we just noticed that their was 6ich concrete on the bottom that would allow us to catch the high of the steps , so we called the owner and told that just that , their wasn't no way around it unless the concrete form was taking out , so we when back and forth with him , that him and is brother and law measured it and it was good , I called is brother and law we when back and forth with him as well , its about 10 am the supplier just arrived to change the material , but we were still going back and forth with them telling them it wound work , so he told us hold Iam coming home , so we waited until almost 1 pm , cause he works south as a teacher , so he came we were explain to him and his talking to is brother in law back and forth , know it was like 3 o'clock and he finally agreed that it was the only way to do it is to take out the concrete like the way we told him , but it will be a charge of 700 dollars extra , so he agreed , mean while it was 4 pm so we wasted all day waiting for the owner to come and finally couple of hours making understand that we couldn't do nothing unless that concrete platform was taking out , and we should have charge him more, know for waiting around for him and not have the place ready do start , we had 3 workers their doing nothing for the all First Day . and we also told him that we take 50%of the money and 50% when job complete , the home owner told us that he dosent have the money right know but its not a problem about the money , and he said money is not the problem ill pay in full tomorrow .Second day - we arrived at the job site no one was home we called him and asked him about the money , he told us the money is their he hided,  cause he had to run to work , so we found the envelop open it and it was only 1000  dollars in their ,   we got started braking the concrete and we did just that , we got the steps to start and got the patio almost done , everything was going good  .Third day - the patio was complete and the steps were done , only the caps were not put on , it was about 1 pm Wednesday I called the owner and told him that we will be done with in about 1 hour , but the caps are 16 inch not 18 so they are not going to split between the joins , unless we cut them and put small peaces on each step , he actually didn't know was I was talking about the caps with putting them with peaces , so he said I'll be their in about 30 mints , so we waited for like 2 hours I called him he said their is traffic , so we waited for more and I called him and told him than that's it , and don't make a complaint to Revdex.com or anywhere , and I told his brother and law . First to [redacted] response - she was never there she doesn't know what or how the project got proceed , we never even met her . she claims that we asked to get paid in full that's not True , her Husband told us that the money doesn't matter so he will pay us in full . and than he says he never said that .I have 4 people that were their , and I told him if he never delayed with the materials and have us wait we would have finished with in 2 days . their was about 2 to 3 hours of work and he own us 900 left , I told him and is bother in law how hired us in the first place , than I told him that today is the last day here for me , just so you know and I told him don't make a complain , and they both said ok I understand and he said is not going to make any complain , so couple of days passed we recived a letter form you guys . from not even him from his wife that she didn't know what was the all delay , but like I said it was only 2 to 3 hours just to put the caps on . and that's why we didn't ask him for the 900 hundred dollars . but his wife asked for 5oo dollars more and than they would take the complain away . I think this is a big mistake , and they lying I don't think this is right to put in a complain just because is wife asked for 500 dollars more .

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The bottom line is this:   If you look at my stairs they are crooked (not level).   No matter what is said in response to this complaint, i.e.: delays, not understanding,  etc.), the stairs will always be crooked.  The caps to the stairs weren't completed because the stairs were crooked, and there was no way to put the caps on without leveling them with cement.   If you put a level on top of the stairs - they are clearly crooked.   Therefore it doesn't matter that I wasn't there to hear the conversations, it doesn't matter that material was late, it matters what the end product looks like and unfortunately I now have crooked stairs.      In addition to that, the bottom patio is not leveled properly near the first step, which means when it rains a huge puddle of water is collecting in that area.  In the winter this will freeze and become one big sheet of ice.   So again, the stairs are crooked, and because of this cement had to be used to level them underneath which means over time the cement will erode and the stairs will continue to be crooked.
