Good Morning Ms*** I am writing to respond to Ms*** *** complaint about Richmond Prep. Ms*** enrolled her son, *** ***, at Richmond Prep in JuneUnfortunately, we were not able to keep *** in class because he was having difficulty adjusting to the school
environmentAfter a number of attempts to redirect ***'s behavior, and speaking with ***'s parents about the behavioral concerns, we were left with no choice except to call Ms*** to pick *** up from school on July 18thOn July 19th, ***'s behavior escalated and we made the decision that he was not adjusting well and needed to be removed from our programWe called Ms*** and notified her about the decision.During the conversation with Ms***, we discussed our concerns and our minimum expectations of all studentsMs*** demanded that she be refunded for the July 18th and 19th, since she had been called from work to get ***She also demanded that she be refunded for the two days remaining in the weekI informed Ms***, that we could not refund for the week since *** had participated in more than 1/of the weekdays. Although our tuition/finance policy states that "monies paid for tuition and fees are non-refundable," we did refund Ms*** the $*** in enrollment fees she paid for the upcoming school yearWe also refunded the $*** she paid for the week of July 24th - 28th, (since *** would not be attending that week)However, Ms*** communicated that she was not satisfied with the refunds we issued and that we were "stealing her money." She stated that she would be taking additional action. Attached you will find the following documentation: - Expulsion Letter provided to Ms*** on July 19th. - A copy of the $*** enrollment fee check (cashed)- A copy of the $*** tuition refund receipt- Documentation of ***'s behavior with notes about communication with parents. - A copy of our Rates & Fee Schedule, which outlines our tuition policies. I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This company has not provided any resolution and to add insult to the theft of stealing my money they have adding in false documents to their claim. The reports that have sent in are made up on the dates of July 11th and July 12th. The only official disciplinary report I received was on July 18th 2017. This one has the official signature of Mr [redacted] because it was the only one officially handed to me. For them to be a school with great reviews they handle business poorly.
