I am rejecting this response because: Rich's Citgo is right on certain aspects of the issue but neglect to understand or accept the real problem. When they finished the pump replacement, I said the car still wasn't running right. That is not the real issue here. I called[redacted] the following day to say I smell gas real bad when driving it, so much so that my eyes were burning. He said it just needs to be aired out as it sat for a week for the right pump to come in. When I took the car back to [redacted] since it still was not running right, they said the reason I smelled gas so bad was because Rich's failed to install the "cover or cap" (I forget their wording) on the fuel pump and that was causing gas to spill out underneath the rear seat. [redacted] said I was lucky the car didn't catch fire. As a result, [redacted] had to drain and remove the gas tank, and basically re-do almost all the work that I just paid Rich's Citgo to do.[redacted], in addition to re-doing Rich's work, installed a fuel filter as well which ultimately corrected the initial problem I had. The reason why I went to Rich's Citgo and called so many times is because the owner [redacted] hung up on me when I asked for a refund then wouldn't answer the phone when I called back repeatedly. I had no alternative but to go to their shop and discuss this. And yes, I was clearly upset and perhaps loud at times since I was hung up on and them not answering my calls to resolve this. I am expecting my money back in full, every penny. If I can't get this resolved amicably through Revdex.com, then I will have no choice to take them to small claims court.

problem  I suggested going back to the dealer who performed the diag  afew days later he called and said the pmp was put in wrong I said imposible the car would run or start I felt it was do to the engine work at[redacted] which he paid over 5000.00 and he did not have problem before this work he then made several calls to [redacted] asking for his money back using foul language and threating  6 calls were made in 10 mins time which I stored on caller id from tel # [redacted]  he then came richs and said I won my fn money or else very laud in front of cutomers  and then left we then called the police and filed a report

Review: I had Rich's Citgo replace a fuel pump on my fiancs 2006 [redacted]. When I picked up the car and paid for it ($240.00), it didn't run right. The mechanic said there must be something else wrong with it. I then took it to [redacted] to have it looked at. They said whoever replaced the fuel pump did not install it right and they left a cap off which also caused gas to spill as it was being driven. [redacted] had to redo all the work Rich's Citgo did at a cost of $719. I asked Rich's Citgo for a full refund and they declined. They basically did not honor their defective workmanship. Had they double checked their work and corrected it the first time I would not have had to bring it to [redacted] and pay an additional $719. I have all receipts.Desired Settlement: A full refund from Rich's Citgo for $240.00
