Whenever a customer calls in warranty, we have to determine if there was reasonable care or not as our product is parishableAfter losing the first shrub, we replaced it in a timely manner No questions asked Losing now out of shrubs, one would deduct that no reasonable care has
taken place We have a nursery full of healthy plant material and there was nothing wrong with the shrubs when they left our nursery We have had no other losses from that batch of plant material Losing shrub out of is hard enough to swallow and now the second one is dead We have concluded based on the fact of 100% loss, no reasonable care has taken place, therefore there is no warranty

Plants are parishable and need to be watered every day upon initial install? We initially had a block of evergreen shrubs, from which were planted at the Huss residence? We have not had any trouble with another 15+ shrubs installed from this block nor have any problems with the remaining shrubs from this block at our nursery? While I'm very sorry they lost out of shrubs planted reciently, we have concluded proper care has not taked place? We have already replaced one?

It is beyond belief to me that a company I have dealt with faithfully for over a decade would take such a stance and mistreat a customer to this extent, especially when their only response is based on a weak generalization that does not come close to being applicable in this case

Regards,
[redacted] There are 2 identical trees standing directly next to the dead tree that are doing well and have been doing well. The only trees that have died were the two "new" trees, which received the same or better care than the thriving trees. It defies logic to say there was not reasonable care taken. All the trees would be dead if you follow that flawed line of reasoning. It also defies logic for someone who has not been on the property to make such a determination based on absolutely nothing but his own desire to not make good on a warranty. Two trees planted at the same time, one died almost immediately, the other died soon thereafter. Surrounding trees doing well. Same care. The only sensible conclusion is that there was something wrong with those 2 particular trees. Just because one has a nursery with other trees that are flourishing means absolutely nothing. Whether it is a new car, a TV set, or puppies in a litter----just because most are doing well does not mean the particular item in question is inherently doing well. Other than faithfully watering the trees I don't even know what this mysterious "care" would have been that we supposedly did not do. If there were secret care instructions beyond the normal care given to a new tree I would think it would have been related by the employees who planted them. They offered NO care instructions whatsoever.  It is beyond belief to me that a company I have dealt with faithfully for over a decade would take such a stance and mistreat a customer to this extent, especially when their only response is based on a weak generalization that does not come close to being applicable in this case.

Plants are parishable and need to be watered every day upon initial install.  We initially had a block of 25 evergreen shrubs, from which 2 were planted at the Huss residence.  We have not had any trouble with another 15+ shrubs installed from this block nor have any problems with the remaining shrubs from this block at our nursery.  While I'm very sorry they lost 2 out of 2 shrubs planted reciently, we have concluded proper care has not taked place.  We have already replaced one.
