STell us why here...the day the customer contacted me about this situation I sent one of my inspectors to her house immediately the furnace cap was installed a inch and a half lower than it should have been and was corrected immediately from the te we received the call til fixed less than an hourI spoke with customer she asked that I call gas company and I did she didn't have any one over at the home to turn has back on and so when she returned home has was there waiting and turned gas back onWe inspected this job immediately after installing furnace rain cap was tight and painted and visually looked correct I have explain this multiple times if there were a monetary loss on ms Johnson behalf I would immediately pay it I also explained I would do anything I could for the customer to just let me know however I did not respond to her last emailI think what she is asking is ridiculous and very unreasonable a full refund seriouslyThe last email hit a sore spot with meI lost my mom due to negligence on the behalf of a nurse practitioner last year on November And I promise you they still sent multiple bills for her estate and insurance to payAnd we never got so much as s sorry for the loss of your mother soThe last thing I would like to say is I am sorry this issue happened I corrected it and have been more than reasonableI do not feel a full refund of your roof is in order

My name is *** ***I am the owner of richter roofingI have been dealing with this situation for the past monthMs*** had a painting company out to paint the interior of her home and found out how expensive it was to paint her vaulted ceiling and all of the sudden I'm responsible for
the cost I have spoke with mr*** the entire time that we were dealing with this issueThe marks on the ceiling were there prior to me doing any work the same marks are still there nowMr*** had another company come out to make sure the roof is not leakingHe told me it is not leakingThere for not my responsibilityThey are responsible for letting the insurance company know about any concerns with stains or possible interior damage at the time of tv claimWe did not have any interior paint on are contractI have beyond gone out of my way to help them understand I think msKroger is being vindictive in filing this complaintI work hard to keep a very good reputation and do not appreciate being falsely accused of wrong doing in any way

Ms***When you originally called you told me that the gas cocame out for a safety check and shut the gas off and told you that the furnace rain cap needed to be adjustedYou also told me you needed a new furnace and that that was a whole mother storyThere was no mention of it be urgent or a life threatening situation at that timeAfter hearing the details of the situation I explained to you about the safety features your furnace hasAnd that more than likely the furnace issue would be solved by adjusting the furnace rain capAnd you were very happy to hear thatI immediately had someone adjust the cap less than an hour from the time of your original callYou asked if I could deal with the gas coAnd I did so gladlyI have apologized for the inconvenience multiple times and have been very ready the entire time we take a lot of pride in our work and what the customer gets for their moneyIn this case there was an error when installing your furnace rain cap and it has been fixed correctly if you would like a refund for thatI can say that is reasonableI charged for the cap itself and installationI will refund that amount to youThere is absolutely nothing wrong with your roofI am a preferred installer with *** *** and I take great pride in my work and in my reputation as a contractorThe incorrect installation of your furnace rain cap did not put anyone in danger it simply reduced the amount of exhaust for the furnace causing the safety features of the furnace to shut it offIn the contract in which your are asking a full refund ofWe have you a Free duration shingle upgrade value ridgevent for free dollar value and dollars to put our sign in the yard while working I am just an average person trying to support my family this is a small family owned company I'm not a millionaire if I had to give you a full refund for absolutely no reason it would be life changing I wish there were something I could do for you to make you feel different about this situation but clearly there is nothing I can doAnd I still don't understand how an almost 6,refund is going to make you feel better about this situationThat is not called an act of good faith that would be you getting a Free roof
