Review: I found an Ad on Craigslist about a 2 bedroom apartment for $1,500.00 I contact the phone number on the wed site and this direct me to "Richy Realty". They said that I need to subscribe with them and that I need to pay either $120.00 or half of the apartment deposit and that that money will be deducted from the security/Deposit once I got the apartment. They told me that the apt that I saw the ad for was no longer available. So, I filled out an application with the neighborhoods I was interested in. A week or 2 past by and they never called me. I had to constantly call to make sure that they make appointments for me to see apts. They saw me 3 apartments in almost 2 months and I wasveryupset and every time I called my so called "sales person" he did notpick up the phone or text me back. The bottom line was that I wanted my money back, they informed that I need to speak to [redacted] about that. I called several times and she was never there. I finally was able to speak to her and she told me that out of the 120.00 that I paid she would only refund me 60.00 because that was part of the commission and that they have already saw me 3 apartment. I went days later and got my $60.00 back I thought that that was better than nothing. I never deal with an agency so I didn't know if that was ok. I just saw them on the news (Spanish news, Chanel 41) for fraud. Almost the same circumstances but the other lady paid 450.00. I found out through the news that they did/Do not have a valid license for real estate. Now I'm concern that my information is there. Copy of my license, address and SSN.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my $60.00 back and all original documents submitted by me during their application process.

Review: Filing a complaint about Richey Realty/Ready Rentals ([redacted] tel no [redacted]). Please note, I failed to find them using Revdex.coms search engine. I strongly believe this agency is fraudulent and taking advantage of underprivileged people, undocumented or illegal aliens in particular. I am a US Citizen and know my rights but they were actually capable of swindling me; therefore, I want to make sure that they do not take advantage of others, particularly if they do not know the language or their rights. I literally feel that they have robbed me. I admit that I was ignorant to have signed a ridiculous contract that they provide, but I truly doubt that it is at all binding. I am including a copy of it if it will help the process. I had never heard of paying in advance for just seeing apartments; however, since I was interested in a room (and since I was certain I needed it at the time) I decided to proceed on December **, 2013. Since the room I was looking for was in the range of $600, they said they had to charge me $300 in advance as full payment for their services (what they call a special half--month fee). They only showed me two rooms, that were horrible (they actually only gave me the addresses and I had to go see them myself-also in the contract) and an expensive studio. During this time, my aunt told me that I could stay with her; so I decided to forgo my search. When I told the agent this she said she couldn't give me back all the money (which is understandable to some extent) but they would give me $180 if I would go to them in the future when I decide to look for another room. I told her that I would prefer to only give them $50 because they really didnt do much for me. She said to come in person to discuss. Bottom line she gave me the run around until she told me to call her boss [redacted]. When I did, [redacted] bashed me saying things like, "We cant give you ANY money back. Didn't you read the contract? There are no reimbursements!" I was livid!Desired Settlement: I asked for a copy of the contract (they had never provided a copy). She reluctantly gave me one. Needless to say, I am in extreme distress, not only because I was swindled out of $300 but because I was given the run-around and treated like an ignorant fool in front of other customers. I would absolutely love to get all of this money back or at least some of it. If I don't, and if I am only able to stop these dreadful scammers from deceiving others I will be exceedingly content with the outcome.
