Review: I was involved in a rear end collision on September 1, 2015 in a [redacted] My insurance company recommended Rick Hendrick Collision Center of Richmond for the repairs. The repair estimate was done by Andrew S[redacted], the manager of the collision center, on September 8th. He told me he would call me in a few days after he ordered a part. I waited a week but did not hear from him. They finally told me I could drop the car off on September 16th and that it would be a three day repair. Five weeks and a dozen lies later, they still have my car. I was told on October 14th that my car was fixed and ready for pick up. I showed up on October 15th with my four year old son to pick up the car. I asked Mr. S[redacted] to provide me a copy of the final estimate and the report showing that the collision center had done a frame analysis as promised. He told me his computer was broken and he could not get me the report. After thirty minutes of questions as to why he could never provide a report if the work was actually done, he brought a in mechanic from the garage to lie to me. I told him I thought he was lying to me and I was concerned for the safety of my family. He finally admitted he lied. He said he got behind on all repairs after someone quit unexpectedly. He said several other cars have been sitting on his lot for even longer. He tried to put me on his cell phone with his [redacted] supervisor but I told him I did not trust him. I got into my car to drive it to another shop but every emergency light on the dash was on. I asked for assistance but Andrew S[redacted] was nowhere to be found. A person working at the front desk offered to drive my car to [redacted] to be looked at. I called [redacted] and they approved the car being moved to Honda. It is now a week later. We have learned that the bumper repair was never done correctly, the tire was slashed and the frame may need adjusting. Still no car. Andrew S[redacted] is still working at Hendrick.Desired Settlement: I want to speak to someone in charge at Rick Hendrick Collision Center. I want an explanation as to why this happened, why nobody from Rick Hendrick has called me to apologize and why they allow a manager caught lying to customers to remain employed. I have been inconvenienced for over a month for a three day repair. My car is still not back. This is a completely unacceptable way to run a business.
