I was stunned with the level of disappointment. I left my cushions for reupholstered in April. It is August and Steve, the owner, has not even started the project. In fact, his employee, Tom, informed me that after 5 months, the material has not even been ordered! Further, I resent The misrepresentations Steve told me. He continually promised the cushions on various self imposed deadlines. One time he told me he would "get on them in 15 minutes". How could he do that if he hadn't even ordered the material? Another time he told me they would be done the next day. I looked him in the eye and clearly stated that I would be beat the next day to pick up the cushions. I went back the next day and the shop was closed. He never returned calls. The last straw was when I found out the material was not ordered. I picked up my cushions and took them somewhere else. This will be another 6 weeks-the summer long gone. The fact that he did not demand a deposit does not lessen the impact of his misfeasance. In my opinion Steve is a disgrace to the previous owner Alex S.
