A hr return policy is unheard ofit appears you have set up this policy to be in your favor almost in nefarious ways, and to handicap a consumerWhat if someone purchased the wrong course by mistake and did not realize until a day and a half later? Your response of simply copying and pasting your unrealistic return policy shows how much effort you are willing to put towards customer serviceSomeone has to stand up against this, so it looks like for now it's me Regards, [redacted] ***

ExamFX advises of the refund policy three separate timesFirst, after the customer has selected their course but before they have completed account setup or entered any credit card informationThe second time the refund policy is displayed is immediately after purchase as part of an on screen confirmationThen the third time the refund policy is presented is in the purchase confirmation emailThe ExamFX refund policy states: Customers may request a refund, less any shipping costs, within hours of purchase, provided that they have spent less than hour within the online study materials and have not accessed the Simulate Your Exam featureRefunds will not be granted for failure to complete study materialsAccess to online study materials will be terminated upon approval of a refund. This customer first contacted us on January 10, to submit to us the Pre-Licensing Education Student Registration Form which acknowledges receipt of the school tuition and fee refund policy as required by the Ohio Department of InsuranceA copy of this form, redacted to protect the consumer’s identity, has been attachedThe customer then contacted us on January 11, to confirm that ExamFX had received the submitted documentOn January 12, the customer contacted ExamFX via live chat to request a refund and was advised of our policy and that the refund request was made outside of the hours of purchase and was therefore deniedFollowing that conversation, the customer emailed customer support advising of several negative reviews he had posted online regarding ExamFX that he would remove if we made an exception and granted a refundWe again explained our refund policy and denied the request. ExamFX will not be making an exception to the refund policy for this request

I am rejecting this response because: Obviously I was aware of the return policy as it was stated in my original complaintI want my refund because I did not spend over an hour studying the materialThe clock used on the website tracks the time spent during quiz's, a quiz alone can take an hour especially if you are reviewing other online sourcesThe deceptive method to deny people a refund will not be toleratedThe amount of users that have ever qualified for a refund is probably rare because of the ridiculous guidelines

I am rejecting this response because:Many companies understand that it is good business to make exceptions to return policies in corner case scenarios, extreme situations. ESP when the product/ service was purchased and not opened and is attempting to be returned in 30 days (this is the standard across multiple industries, as well as an online company that I previously worked for.) A 24 hr return policy is unheard of... it appears you have set up this policy to be in your favor almost in nefarious ways, and to handicap a consumer. What if someone purchased the wrong course by mistake and did not realize until a day and a half later? Your response of simply copying and pasting your unrealistic return policy shows how much effort you are willing to put towards customer service. Someone has to stand up against this, so it looks like for now it's me.
