This patient called asking for an appointment.? She claimed to have no insurance and would pay cash, which is fineHowever, in confirming demographics the government website showed she had active Medicaid.? Asking us to see her for cash means we would be commiting insurance fraud.?
Further research showed that despite her saying she had not been seen here before, she had.? We have medical records? and a balance that she never paid.? We will not commit insurance fraud and we deserve to be paid for our services.? She treated my staff with tremendous disrespect.? She will not be seen here for these reasons.?

I am rejecting this response because:The events that occurred per the staff is not correctThe monies owed were back in I was not aware of the invoice until I was notified by one of your staffOn a few occasions , but I do have a terminal brain disease that limits me from remembering every eventI did explain to your staff that I did have Medicaid in and that should have been covered by that coverageI did contact the office recently to attempt to make an? appointment and also explained yet again that I indeed have a terminal brain disease I would be? willing to pay the balance of the invoice but they continued to handle me unprofessionally and advised me that the did not want my business due to the fact of the complaints I made regarding the way the way the staff treated me and complaints were lodged? with upper managementThe staff laughed at me and told me that I was a liar? about what was reported when I had witnesses in the room listening to how they were talking to meThis business is in my community and I have been told that they also mistreat people of color as well as those that are poverty strickenI want people in my community to treat me with dignity and respect and they did not

I am rejecting this response because: ? I have the doctors clinical notes and my medical records, including the X-rays taken by your radiology dept? His notes did mention the results of the X-ray results of film taken by your office nor did they include the radiologist report details nor did he advise me of bulging discs and pinched nerves? His neglect goes to my main complaint that he did not treat me humanely, thoroughly nor as if I mattered? As mentioned before I felt as if I was an inconvenience to him? I remember his scowl as he entered the room and him walking out of the exam room leaving the exam room with me standing there holding the paper shorts I had used for my X-rays.? By no means I do not want to commit insurance fraud and I accept this fact, but Valerie I called you and have yet to hear from you outside of this complaint? Dr C*** is the man who showed disregard for me as a patient so speaking with his unapologetic self was a moot point? I am not sure why his demeanor towards me was terrible? I am not sure if all of your patients get the same treatment? I can only guess? As directed by my PC I will be going to another spine specialist to pursue all of my options beside a shot
