[redacted] shed was delivered on 5/22/15.At this point I don't understand why they would ask for their deposit back. His shed when into production 4/20 right after his site-inspection and shed was delivered on 5/22.

A realistic offer would be...

a 30% refund (30% of the total purchase price)I have a copy of the receipt, but the agreement (that production would start on the shed as soon as the deposit was paid) was told to us on the phone. Once we made the deposit, we quickly hired a contractor to clear the area where the shed was going (we paid a premium to have the contractor come out so quickly, because we made the deposit on the shed and were told production would start so we figured the area had to be cleared quickly)

Please see attached.
We received the letter from Revdex.com 5/23/15, at that point the shed had already been delivered. We responded within a few days.
If [redacted] would like we can issue a gift certificate from Ricks Sheds in the amount $25.00

I am rejecting this response because: I assumed Rick's Sheds to be professional installers. We indicated the general area of the yard in which we would like the swing set placed, assuming, that as professionals, they would leave enough clearance for safe usage. Both my husband and I asked them if the kids would run into the fence. They said it would be "fine." I took their word for it. Once installed they asked us to test the swings. I did, and my feet hit the fence. I told them that concerned me and they said to just swing facing the other direction. They even joked that my kids would try to jump over the fence as they got older.
This weekend, my husband and I moved the swingset  ourselves with the help of family. To do so, we disassembled part of the set. I'm glad we did. During this we discovered that several places that had been drilled for bolts contained no bolts. This company should not be working on equipment being used by small children as they have an obvious disregard for safety. My only desired outcome now is that this complaint is posted on the Revdex.com site so that other consumers assuming a safe product will be forewarned.

Review: I purchased a display playset from this company. Part of the purchase included delivery and installation. While the swing set was being installed in my yard I noticed that the placement was very close to our fence. I asked the installer if the set should be further from the fence and expressed that I did not want my children to run into the fence while playing on the set. I was assured that it was a safe distance and it would be "unlikely" the swings would hit the fence. Once the driver left and we began to use the swings it was clear that some were too close to the fence to be safe. My husband and I contacted Ricks on multiple occasions, both in email and over the phone, requesting the correct the installation issue. We were told that they would come look at the set. The next day I received an estimate of nearly $275 to move the playset. When we spoke to a Terry she advised they had not come out to look at the placement and would not move the set to complete a safe installation. I now have what amounts to a $2,000 slide and fort as the rest of the set has limited safe use.Desired Settlement: Move set away from fence so it is safe for use.

Response:

We delivered the swing set on 10/18/14. The driver ask the customer where to put the swing set. The husband showed him where to put the swing. The driver also ask his wife check the location too. Husband and wife both confirmed the location. And to make sure they didn't hit the fence. They signed the invoice accepting delivery and everything was fine when we left.A few days later they called and ask to have the swing moved. We told them there is a charge. We normally charge $500.00 to move a swing set. We offered to move the swing set at a discounted price of $275.00
