Do not use this "business." [redacted] is a scammer and I only wish I had viewed this Revdex.com site before hiring him. [redacted] comes across as friendly, decisive, with a positive "can do" attitude at a fair price which I thought almost seemed too good to be true. Unfortunately it is. [redacted] advertises on [redacted] as an unlicensed handyman, but with references. He will start a job with minimal effort and material, but then needs a payment to buy material and finish the job because he is "anxious to complete the job." He will ask for $200 - $300, and needs it immediately. Once I paid him the $250, that was the last I heard from him. Before he was paid, he was very accessible by phone and text, but after payment, it is impossible to get a hold of him. So much for being anxious to complete the job. In this case, it was for tile repair for two bathrooms. Do not use this business!!

I hired [redacted] from [redacted]. I needed interior painting and carpet stretched and repaired. He said he had another man to help him and would have no problem doing the job in 2-3 days (2 bedrooms and 1 living room--no ceilings) He did not show up on time any of the days he worked for me and took off in the middle of the day for hours. The first 2 days it was only him and his 15 year old daughter. The last day (at my prompting) he brought another young man to help.
He said on more than one occasion he had a carpet stretcher--he didn't--only a kicker. He tried to say that was all it needed.
He left without completely finishing the job. There was an area he missed painting and the carped was not properly repaired in the hall. He also took all of the paint. I asked him for some I could use for touch up and he said he would bring some to me the next day. HE NEVER SHOWED UP. After several unreturned calls and texts, I had to buy paint ($50)to fix where he missed and I finished the carpet repair myself.
2 days later I was informed by 2 credit card companies that my accounts had been compromised. I found 2 of my cards had been STOLEN from a bedroom drawer. There is a police report pending.
