My name is *** *** owner of Rico's Pizza at E Hatch rd. Modesto Ca. I'm replying to a customer complaint made about the coupons that were not honored at this location. I was on vacation out of the country from July 7th to the 27th and was unable
to call back the customer for this reason and my managers weren't able to appropriately handle this issueOn July 1st 2014 we increase prices due to the minimum wage increase and posted a notice at the restaurant explaining that the coupons that were already in circulation before this date will not be accepted because the price increase. Employees were still suppose to give the customer a discount but it would reflect the price increase if they like to purchase the pizza

Review: I received a coupon for a x-large three topping pizza for $15. I called on July 4th and ordered a x-large three topping pizza and told them I had a $15 coupon I wanted to use. They told me it would be $20.25.I told them that tax is not $5.25 on this order. I told them again I had a coupon that would make it $15. They told me that their prices went up. I told them that the coupon was for $15 and it had no expiration date. They again told me that the prices went up and that that was what the owner told them to tell people. I told them that it was a bait and switch scam and it was illegal. They refused to honor my coupon. I called the [redacted], Ca. Ricos which is owned by the same person and asked them about the coupon and what had happened at the Hatch road location. They would not comment but took my name and number at my request for the owner to call me back. it has been 10 days and I have not received a call back from the owner. The coupon was very straight forward.Desired Settlement: I want my coupon for a x-large three topping pizza for $15 with no expiration date honored as well as any of the coupons on this flyer for me as well as any customer that has one.
