Fantastic service! I called the Ricotta Mechanical emergency line over the Memorial Day weekend because the thermostat (I thought) was malfunctioning, and they had installed it. We quickly determined the thermostat wasn’t the problem, at which point he would have been within his rights to leave me on my own. Instead, he patiently walked me through a series of troubleshooting moves over the course of several phone calls as I tried things until we found the problem. (Drainage from air handler blocked.) Saved me the cost of an emergency service call! The Ricotta team is VERY knowledgeable and helpful. Also, when the Ricotta guy originally installed the thermostat and inspected the system, he did a great at explaining what he was doing and why. If you need cooling/heating work, make Ricotta your first call.

On 11/10/2017 I engaged Ricotta Heating & Air to replace an ignition switch on my furnace , Alan the service tech arrived to my home between 10am - 11am of which he asked to use my restroom , I initially objected as Alan was there to complete a service , Alan asked repeatedly to use the restroom of which I thought wasn't professional however due to Alan heavy breathing and appearance I allowed Alan to use the restroom. Alan used the restroom and failed to flush the toliet or wash his hands upon leaving the restroom. This is my opinion is unacceptable , sanitary , as well as unprofessional. I allowed Alan to finish his work of which I paid him for his service . Before completing the payment I advised Alan I wouldn't be utilizing the services of Ricotta Heating & Air any longer due to his lack of professionalism as well as my intent to contact home office surrounding the incident , Alan apologized and left . I then contacted Barbara *** to inform her of the event of which she offered the service for free due to the incident , I told Barbara no I would suggest a half credit because Alan completed the work - Alan made a poor choice of how he used the bathroom. I wasn't happy with the level of professionalism of which Barbara agreed , Barbara told me she would get back in contact with me. The next time I spoke with Barbara *** she told me ALAN would issue a refund and avoided disclosing the price. I then contacted ALAN and advised him of the conversation with Barbara , ALAN & I disagreed on the resolution of $150 refund of which ALAN advised he would get back in contact with Barbara for approval and Barbara would then contact me. Barbara never reached back out nor returned my phone call for days of which I was able to connect with ALAN on 11/14/2017 to inquire about the refund. With no resolution I told ALAN to have Barbara contact me today as well as my intention to share this information with the Revdex.com. Barbara then text me beginning with stop calling !!!! Barbara begin sent numerous insults about my home as well as how bad of a person I was because of sharing this information. I have a screen shot of the full text conversation between Barbara and myself where again Barbara insulted my home as well as myself .
